3 for 3
Our third visit here with "Ross" as our server. You'd think after 3 visits if something was going to go wrong it would have, but it didn't,
Seabass Skewers with Salsa Verde
Beef Empanada with a Smoked Pepper Sauce
Rolada de Pollo Verde
Gorgonzala Salad
Rioja WIne

Everything was outstanding

We returned here after many months. We reserved a booth and it was set and ready when we arrived. Service was prompt and courteous. The menu was exactly as we remembered but we were not impressed with the physical menus. Both menus and wine lists were dog-eared and stained with food and beverage stains. Something un-appetizing about being handed menus that are dirty with food stains. In a time when anybody can print fresh menus every day there is no excuse for handing out dirty old menus. The fact that the old menu had not changed in over a year speaks to the fact that they don't offer seasonal or fresh local foods.
A couple of off-menu specials were offered by our server, but nothin appealed from those choices.
This is one of three pretty good Italian restaurants in a faux Norwegian tourist town that offers no Scandinavian food.
So our meal was good as we remembered. Several past choices, a chicken dish and some fresh fish. My penne with puttanesca sauce was average tomato sauce with some capers and a little spice, at $15 it was OK. Salads were also OK, nothing notable.
Their focaccia bread is excellent but unlike other local Italian eateries, you are charged $3.75 for this bread.
It is a popular place on weekend nights so reservations are essentials.
Our total bill at over $100 for two dinners and drinks was steep for this level of dining.

We discovered this little gem of a restaurant a couple of years ago - and it has never disappointed us! Sure - it may be a little more expensive than some of the other Poulsbo restaurants - but it's worth it! No matter what is on the menu at this mostly Mediterranean type cuisine restaurant and how unusual some of the meals appear to be - it's tasty! Service is impeccable - we're going back this weekend!

We live in the area but stopped visiting Burrata some time ago, because it seemed the menu didn't change often and we had tried most everything. On a whim, we gave it another try and had a great time! Started with yummy martinis. And, there are interesting new specials on the menu. Our meals were delicious and satisfying--we split a classically prepared and well-seasoned Caesar salad. Prawn appetizer was generous and seasoned just right. We shared the cannelloni-- delicate pasta with a very rich sauce, but the serving size was right. But our waiter Dominic, made the evening!! So nice, friendly and fun, while completely professional at the same time! He made us feel welcome...we'll go back again soon, not just for the enjoyable meal, but hoping to be seated at Dominic's table!
