“Very peaceful and relaxing!”

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. It was very peaceful and relaxing on a weekend that could be really hectic. The owners let us be, which is exactly what we wanted. They left yummy local treats upon our arrival and gave us contact information if we should need anything day or night. The location is close to many hikes and fun casual shopping. We loved all that Chimacum had to offer. Ajax restaurant and a farm visit are a must! All around great place to stay.

“Home away from Home”

Chimacum Ridge Lodge is the best kept secret that needs to be shared. It is quite, comfortable, clean, modern and private, just a little home away from home. It is just you and your hosts, the perfect "get away" place to de-stress and relax. It is centrally located but still out of the way and peaceful. It is fully furnished including a full kitchen and gas grill to cook up the wonderful foods available in the area. The deck provides beautiful view of the Central Valley and is covered to provide shade and protection from any rain. Dan and Donna are phenomenal hosts. They make sure you are well cared for and that everything is just as you expected.

“Chimacum Ridge Lodge EXCEEDS Expectations!”
Reviewed June 2, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Quiet, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, convenient location, hospitable and friendly proprietors. If you have been looking for any of the above and more, look no further than Chimacum Ridge Lodge. We spent most of our time exploring nearby Port Townsend, the Olympic national rain forest (Crescent Lake and the Elwha river are each a must see!), and even day-tripped out as far as Cape Flattery and Second Beach on the Strait of Juan De Fuca and western coastline of WA, respectively. And speaking of location, those inclined to eat organic, local foods will be pleasantly surprised to find that despite its rural location, you are only minutes from many delicious local eateries. A few of our favorites in no particular order, Ajax Cafe, Farm Reach Cafe, Owl Spirit Cafe. So much to do and see, you will be left wishing for more hours in the day.

Begin and end each day in a comfortable, private setting with everything you could want or need. Clean, modern living space with kitchenette (refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, stove top), washer/dryer downstairs, and your own private deck to take in the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Even though it was a little cloudy and we didn't get to see the mountains from the lodge, other reviewers have shared their experiences and photos.

Did I mention the double shower head or the fireside R&R? Wi-Fi was available and reliable, providing the perfect opportunity to touch base with social media at the end of our daily adventures. Furniture so comfy! A very nice flatscreen TV and Bose surround sound stereo system were also available, though we did not have the opportunity to take advantage during this trip.

We so appreciated the fresh fruit, juices, muffins and jam… Just enough to tide us over each morning before a proper breakfast. Honorable mention to Farm's Reach Cafe, a mere 5 min. drive. You MUST try the Spring Rain Farm's eggs.

Dan and Donna are always available to provide expert recommendations, and the "binder" of infomation is invaluable. Read upon arrival!! Would re-book in a heartbeat. Thanks, D&D :)

“A lovely place to stay!”
Reviewed September 4, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Dan and Donna are the perfect hosts. Fresh flowers and treats awaited us along with lots of information on the area; Dan even sought out good birding info for my husband. We had some nice conversations and still enjoyed all the privacy we wanted. A quiet rural country area close to Port Townsend we enjoyed local organic produce from farmers markets when cooking in "our home" for the week and also enjoyed many of the local restaurants when eating out. The lodged is so cozy the bed super comfortable and simply relaxing on the deck is delightful. I highly recommend Chimacum Ridge Lodge!
