“Many Thanks to PT Inn for opening up pool to public!”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

While the only other pool in town had 'issues' and had to be closed indefinitely, Port Townsend Inn opened up their pool and hot tub and made guest passes so locals could continue to swim for family fun or exercise. Their pool is always sparkling clean, and staff is super friendly. I just go to use hot tub to soak my weary bones after a workout, and it is by far the best hot tub in town. It was nice to see kids still get to swim or folks do their morning swim while I pummeled my aches and sore muscles away. Thanks Port Townsend Inn for this lovely community service!

Room Tip: They do have a Jacuzzi room if you are ever looking for more private venue to soak in!

We had a fantastic stay at the Port Townsend Inn and would particularly like to thank some amazing customer service.
Breakfast was also great and reception were really helpful.
If we are in the area again we will definitely be coming back!

This was the perfect place for our first foray to Port Townsend. We will be back, that's for sure and we will always stay at PT Inn. Very clean and love the fact that we were walking distance to the shops and restaurant.

Very friendly lady at front desk who said she was putting us in one of the 'nicer' rooms. Rate was not too expensive however the Inn is rather shabby and the floors were very cold. The room did not smell fresh and had rather a musty odor. We did have free WiFi though and the Inn is conveniently located and does have a great view from up on the hill. Probably would not stay here again.

We had some friends coming from Seattle, and they like things to be special and we wanted to make it a 5 star stay. We called our good friends at Port Townsend Inn, and got an amazing rate. We decided to add extra touches, so had the staff spread rose petals on the bed with a mint on the pillow and an arrangement of flowers. We would have had their favorite wine chilling, but we didn't know when they were arriving, which turned out to be late anyway. You can call ahead and ask the very caring owners or super friendly staff for such touches, for a reasonable fee of course. All it takes is some foresight. They knowledgeable concierge front desk was able to recommend a French bistro that suited our friends sophisticated palate. For Valentines Day, it is a great getaway to get the hot tub room. You can have roses, champagne, chocolates, whatever, and surprise your sweetheart It's a great value, so rather than complain, plan ahead! The people there will bend over backwards to make your stay pleasant and affordable. There is a pool and hot tub for all guests to use, so create your own holiday for family or couples retreat

Room Tip: Hot tub room or king size room, and call ahead to make arrangements rather than making it the last r...

Spent one night here. Very friendly lady (Cookie) at front desk both at night when we checked in and in the morning. Not the newest place, but well kept up. Two floors, no elevator. Not a problem for us, at least not yet anyway. Large clean room. Internet was fine. Limited breakfast, but it worked OK. At 99 bucks it was a little more than it should have been.

We paid $110 for our room, which had a king bed. When we arrived, the room had a pungent chemical/perfume smell to it. Our friends' room had a musty smell. We did our best to air them out by leaving the doors and windows open for a few hours, but the chemical and musty smells remained. The sheets were clean, but everything else was quite worn and threadbare. This is an old hotel that hasn't seen a renovation in a long time.

The bed was comfortable, but sleep was hard to come by. The walls are so thin that we could hear snoring from the room next door. We also heard the neighbor's shower and people walking around in the room above us late at night and early morning. And let's not forget the cops showing up at 2 a.m. to break up an altercation in the parking lot.

The hotel is located a little over a mile from the waterfront shops and dining. We had bicycles, so this wasn't a problem. If you arrive by car, be prepared to walk or spend a lot of time searching for parking in the downtown area.

The best thing I can say about this place is the staff. They are quite friendly and interested in making sure you have a pleasant stay. It's just awfully expensive for what you get.
