“Beautiful spot”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

This park is amazing for such a small city - beautifully tended gardens and paths, lovely view of the water, and set in a quiet residential area. Hadn't been back for a few years, but it stuck in my mind the whole time, so we looked for it again a couple of weeks ago, and were SO glad we did.

“We stumbled across this park”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

My sister in law and I were driving around Port Townsend enjoying the lovely buildings. We stumbled across this park. We spent the following hour walking around the park and enjoying it.
In early spring there were budding trees and rhodys almost ready to blossom.
There is a gazebo and a bridge and views of the water.
We loved watching the people with their dogs and the young families with children.
This is such a sweet spot for public consumption with no fee. How lovely that someone was recently married there.

“Lovely in the Spring”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

We had our midweek wedding ceremony in the gazebo at Chetzemoka park. In early April, the English primroses and daffodils were in bloom, along with other bulb flowers. The grass was a luscious green. Only one rhododendron was blooming, but the large ones will be splendid a little later in the season.

From the gazebo, you can choose to look out onto the bay or into the park with blooming trees. The children's playground is nearby, and teen visitors to the park will not necessarily be quiet as they stroll by the gazebo. :)

There are many smaller locations in the park perfect for pictures or similar ceremonies...little bridges, small gardens, lovely trees. Has the gazebo been occupied, we would have been happy with any of a number of other sites in the park.

There is a restroom building there; though, I did not see the inside of it. Parking seems adequate but not overly abundant.

“Beautiful Park”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Small, quiet park with beach access. The flowers were just starting to come up. Lots of things for kids to do and a great place to walk your dog. Views of the water are neat, and a small path leads down to the beach. You could walk from there to Fort Worden along the beach if you wanted to.

“Charming park in PT”

Chezemoka is a beautiful spot to enjoy a picnic or simply relax in the grass. Easy access to take a walk along the beach when the tide is out.
