This was a real treasure of a find. Swans is located on the edge of Port Townsend. The rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped and overall most pleasant. The rates were most affordable. This is certainly an interesting place with great water views. The receptionist at the desk when we registered was exceptional- one of the best I have encountered. This is a " we will be back" kind of place.

This little hotel was a pleasure to stay in. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. The location was very nice as it was close to the marina and a great little coffee shop right cross the street. The main drag of the town ends at the hotel so there is no traffic to speak of during the night. Everything about this hotel was steller. I would like to stay in the little cabins but they were all full at the time. The room itself was decorated nicely and everything was clean and neat as a pin. Close to all the shopping and attractions the town has to offer. We will be back.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your kind words. Like they say in real estate "location, location, location" guest's do love the fact that everything is so close at hand. I agree it is very quiet at night here at this end of town on the marina.

We look forward to your next visit.

I was very happy with my choice of the Swan Hotel for a 2-night stay in Port Townsend. The employees were friendly and answered all my questions. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities I required (wi-fi, coffee maker, mini-fridge). My favorite part of the room was the windows. There's more window than wall. I loved opening the curtains in the morning and letting the light in. The Swan is right downtown, a quick walk to restaurants and The Rose movie theater. Guests have access to a nice gym, a half-block away, which I took advantage of. I have no complaints about the Swan. The next time I visit Port Townsend, I will stay there, or try out their other hotel, The Bishop Victorian.

Enjoyed our midweek stay at the San Hotel. We stayed in the pet friendly cabin no.4. It is very close to the marina and downtown right across the street from the Maritime Center. I would like to especially note the kindness of the staff, Ken and A.J. they were fantastic!!

We just spent a couple of nights in Port Townsend, one of our favorite little towns. The Swan Hotel has a great location with views over the marina and Admiralty Inlet. We even saw a submarine coming back to port! The hotel is within walking distance of shops, pubs, and restaurants. The room was comfortable, and the staff were really nice and helpful.

The Swan Hotel is wonderful for both couples and families. We could park and walk everywhere on water street. I planned over a month on details for the trip with AJ. She coordinated my flowers, champagne, and room details. We were fortunate to stay in the Wheelhouse Suite and it is fabulous! Plenty of room for everyone anytime. Check in was a breeze, and they offer maps of attractions. If you are taking a ferry, it is best to make a reservation. We had to wait for 2 ferries (Coupeville) before we were able to get on "standby". Luckily we made the 4:30 pm one. The suite comes fully equipped with a full kitchen that although we never truly used, we will when we come back with the family. The room was very clean, and when we arrived, AJ had made sure to place the flowers right on the table and Champagne chilling in an ice bucket. She made sure all the details I requested were made, even down to the rose petals spread throughout. It is that type of attention to detail that will have us coming back for years to come.
The three levels with a rooftop crow's nest makes for some stunning water views and pictures. 2 full decks is nice for coffee in the morning watching the sun come up over the water. We ate dinner at the Belmont and the setting is wonderful right on the water. Brick walls, affordable elegant meals. For nightlife, we chose to head to Sirens, which offers live music and local craft beers, along with a full service bar. For breakfast we chose Hudson Point Café. $10 heaping plates of food specialty omelets, hash, and pancakes is just what the Dr. ordered after a night out. We also shopped along Water Street and found several shops offering something for everyone. The Wine Cellar was especially satisfying as the carry affordable wine's from all over the world.
If you are looking for an affordable vacation with the family, this one has it all. If you are looking for a night out with romance with your wife or significant other, The Swan Hotel hits it out of the ballpark.

Jereme & Cassie

Room Tip: There are no elevators for the Hotel. If traveling with limitations keep this in mind.

Dear Guest,

WOW what a great review. We appreciate all of your wonderful comments about the Inn and our staff. AJ our daytime Innkeeper had a fun time coordinating all your "Romantic" details like the flowers, champagne, and rose petals to insure that you had a special Valentine's Day 2014!!

We welcome you back with your family sometime in the future. They will love the Penthouse Suite also.

This was our second stay and we had a wonderful time as always. The rooms are clean and cozy..the hotel is an easy walk to water street and to shopping/restaurants. One of the best things we love about staying here is the complimentary use of the Port Townsend athletic club during your stay. The staff is friendly and accomodating as we had a late check in. The only drawback is very thin walls so you hope for respectful neighbors, however this is to be expected based on the hotel structure. Would certainly recommend and will stay here again...
