“2 nights in a row: so good we had to come back”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We had had a late lunch but wanted to chill out with a nice view and a cold drink about 5pm on Labor Day. We were given a beautiful outdoor table as we sipped a Gin-gin( num) and a beer. No pressure to order food, but we decided to split a beet salad, which was fabulous and gave us each ample portions including a crostini. We returned the next night and enjoyed a more substantial delicious dinner, the special -which was salmon with smashed potatoes. The service is friendly and engaging. The desserts are ample and good and the Port pour a sizable value.

“Wonderful Clam Chowder”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Stopped in Port Townsend on the way back from Hurricane Ridge and wandered into Fins for lunch. The six of us were seated immediately. The view was spectacular, but the claim chowder was even better. Visiting from Alabama we've sampled the chowder at several restaurants. This one is just unbelievable! Claims in their shells with a wonderful sauce. Port Townsend is a great place to visit, but lunch at Fins is worth the trip from Seattle all by itself.

“Good fresh seafood, slow service”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Our extended family of eight enjoyed a nice but slow dinner here. We had a reservation, and the restaurant was only about a 1/3 full when we arrived, but it took over 15 minutes for us to get seated, then another 15 minutes for us to be greeted by our waitress, who seemed stressed. After another 15 minutes, a new waitress took over, and things improved but were still slow, which was annoying since we had a 1.5 hr drive to the Lake Crescent Lodge after dinner. The seafood dishes were tasty, highlight was the crabcakes. We enjoyed the 1/2 off Tuesday night wine special.

“Great view poor food”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

We got their fish and chips. The "wild cod" tasted like store bought fish sticks. The fries were burnt. At least the salad was fresh.
