“very fun experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2010

the only restaurant with seafood brave enough to stay open during a recent snowstorm that hit us during our "minimoon" to port townsend. Menu is fair, but the chef has some tricks up his sleeve (homemade/delicious asian food) if you ask. The chef and the service was very friendly and fun. Very low key and laid back. We plan on going back if we ever make it up there again. try it out, it won't break your wallet.

“Solidly average diner type place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2010

We had a decent breakfast here. The decor had an Asian theme, which didn't have anything to do with the menu. It was just your regular inexpensive diner fare: eggs, pancakes, etc. We both ordered the strawberry pancakes and they were good, nothing exceptional. The strawberries were frozen and still had ice crystals on them. That was kind of odd. The coffee was fine. The service was quite fast and attentive.

“Fabulous pancakes and lamps”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2010

We were there on a cool, rainy day for breakfast. While Tom was the only person working when we got there, he got our coffee, took our order and had our breakfast out in a timely fashion. The blueberry pancakes were the best pancakes I have ever eaten!! Lee Ann arrived and kept coming out to make sure we were well taken care of, filling our coffee and water glasses. As a bonus, Tom makes beautiful lamps with very creative agate shades. I would definitely recommend the Lighthouse Cafe

“Good breakfast but very slow service!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2010

Such friendly but slow service! I'm afraid that my gang of 14 boys and I kept locals waiting over 45 minutes while the lone server (so sweet and friendly!) tried to make sure all our orders were filled first. The breakfast was delicious, however!

“poor quality”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2010

From the neglected outside, we should have guessed that the dining area would not be very inviting. So true. One of the few restaurants open on a winter Wednesday morning, we felt there weren't many breakfast choices in town. Only 2 other tables were occupied. The locals know better! There seemed to be only one employee total, so service was slow. Breakfast was very poor quality bread and poorly prepared eggs. The jam consisted of 2 uninspired packages of either apple jelly or grape jelly. We should have gone to a place that just serves coffee and pastry. There were a few of those.
