Grand old home updated with all of it's original charm and elegance. Awesome views. Host and hostess are great. Breakfasts are very good. Outstanding location overlooking the Bay. Cedar Cove TV show brought us here (based on Port Orchard).

The Cedar Cove Bed & Breakfast is an Exception amoung Bed & Breakfast Establishments for
a number of reasons. The Building is Beautiful as well as the Grounds. The Landscaping and
Veiws are Remarkable and most Importantly.., *( Quiet ). The Proprietors are the nicest people
you could find and the Breakfast.., *( I had a Dutch Baby Pastry with Fresh Fruit ).., is Gourmet .
You would be Hard Pressed to find a better experience anywhere at any level of Civilization.
*( I thought the Old Fashioned Deep Bathtub and the Plush Bath Towels a Luxury ). The Beds
Firm and the Interior lighting pleasant.

Room Tip: The Seattle Room was Quiet and Private with a Full Bath and seclusion from the Hustle and Bussle.

This is a huge, beautifully restored colonial, with awesome views from almost every room. The shared spaces and gardens are wonderful. The owners are charming, relaxed, helpful, and willing to accommodate.

Room Tip: All the rooms a bit different. Phone ahead and talk to the hosts about the different rooms and what...

My husband and I had a wonderful four days at the Inn with three other couples. The Inn totally lived up to all the positive reviews on this site. We golfed at McCormick Woods, Gold Mountain and Trophy Lake. The golf was great at all three courses. If anyone is looking for the ideal place to go for a golf holiday, I would say they need look no further than this Inn with the three golf courses that are great value and within 15 to 20 minutes of the Inn.
For those who want to shop, we really enjoyed the shops in Poulsbo, finding lots of interesting things that were a welcome difference from what you find in the standard franchise stores. We also really enjoyed taking the little ferry (15 minute walk from the Cedar Cove Inn) to Bremerton for a delicious dinner.
We felt very pampered while we stayed at the Inn and we are all looking forward to returning.

We were there during an unusual hot spell, so the lack of air conditioning, and the fact that our room got the afternoon sun, which did impact us, may not be a concern for most. There were two small portable fans put in the room. Our room, on the top floor, had a nice view of the bay and across to Bremerton, including the decommissioned aircraft carriers. Bed was comfortable. Our room had no Wi-Fi reception, which we were advised about when checking in (we used our computer downstairs), so if this is a concern, ask in advance. Cell phone coverage was fine.

Breakfasts were good, though tended to be on the sweet side (e.g., pancakes with syrup) and usually had pork meat. If you want something different, however, they will strive to accommodate you.

It's a bit of a walk down to the town itself, but not burdensome. Do be careful if you use GPS to get to the inn: the inn is at the top end of Seattle Street, and ours tried to take us up the hill from the town (the street stops so it's not physically impossible). Only sound I recall was the daily morning and evening revile (?) and Star Spangled Banner from the Navy base in Bremerton.

This is not the very fanciest place we've ever stayed in, but it was nice, and the price was very reasonable.

The family all came together in Port Orchard for our Nephew's High School graduation. We spent two nights here and it was perfect! Even the weather cooperated - not sure how they pulled that off in June! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms (each with its own bath) were large quiet. The kitchen has two large refrigerators and a great stove and there is a good BBQ just off the kitchen. The dining room sat 16 easily and there were three additional rooms to congregate (one with piano!) and the wrap around terraces were perfect for hanging out day and night. The gardens are beautiful and worthy of a dedicated browse of all the flowers and there is croquet available if you're so inclined. Plenty of parking. An incredibly well maintained property!

Room Tip: We had the entire house - so looking at all the rooms they all seemed pretty big and all had great v...

Cedar Cove Inn has got to be one of the most beautiful Inns in Washington! 180 degree views coupled with tasteful decor and the best breakfast in town make this a must for my company's lodging needs on the Peninsula. We also have held team offsites here, and they were fantastic. Gil and Kathy (the innkeepers) are delightful and so knowledgable about the area, and never intrusive- just the right amount of care and detail.
