I can only comment on the condo we stayed in -- it had a great view and nice layout but it really could have been cleaner, especially when you have to pay a $75 cleaning fee! I'm sure the rooms are better.

Despite the rain, we spent a lovely evening at this little botique hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their 'happy hour' is good, the rooms are very comfortable and cozy; and, we had a wonderful breakfast the following morning! A really cool moment was spotting a bald eagle on a nearby roof top! This location is a beautiful setting.

I've been coming here for almost two decades and have a few tips: First of all, there's not a whole lot going on in the immediate vicinity. If it's raining, then golf is out, and you're stuck inside. I guess you could drive to Port Townshend, but that's 40 miles round trip. But, if you're going to do that you might as well stay in P.T. However, if your plan is to sit inside on a rainy day and read a good book in front of a fire -- this is for you. If it's sunny, the world is your oyster. Also, take some reviews with a grain of salt....a lot of customers are here on off-site meetings. And call and make sure you ask for a water view. Otherwise, you'll probably have a balcony overlooking the parking lot. And if you have a dog, you'll get the handicapped room overlooking the parking lot. The staff is super friendly, and I would recommend this place for a couple -- not a family.

what a wonderful little boutique hotel! this was our first (but not our last) time here and we are pretty certain we stayed in the best room in the house (301) - the views were spectacular! not one patio but 2! and the fireplace and sitting area in addition to the bedroom and bath with giant tub were just great! we were originally booked for just 2 nights and extended that to 4 we were having such a terrific time! our room rate included a delicious (full) breakfast in their Fireside Restaurant - and one morning the general manager came around and asked us how our stay was - this was a genuine and appreciated gesture and made us feel like our opinions mattered - very classy! The evening experiences at The Fireside were not as satisfying - the hostess and servers did not seem up to par with the quality and prices so that was a bot disappointing...tho the food was very good...all in all an experience we will want to repeat!

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the marina and bay and you will be satisfied! the suites at the very end of the halls are spectacular - rooms 201 & 301

This visit marked our fourth stay over five years. The rooms and common areas are always clean and well maintained. We especially enjoy the quiet and beauty of the natural setting on the waters edge. The hotel and Fireside Restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
