“Beautiful”

One of the best wine tasting venues. The tasting room is intimate. I felt so comfortable, it was like having a sommelier in your own kitchen. Every one was knowledgeable and delightful. I look forward to visiting during the summer!

“A Unique Tasting Venue”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

I never miss a chance to visit this winery. The friendly feel and knowledgable staff are great. What is equally impressive is the structure itself, which was built by hand by the owner.

“Amazing wine and.....Karen!”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

My wife and I were in Leavenworth for my birthday and after a dinner meal, we stopped by the Icicle Ridge tasting room. Fate hooked us up with Karen, one of the lovely daughters of the winery proprietor, Louis Wagoner. She expertly suggested the wine that best suited our tastes, all the while charming us with her wit. We purchased a bottle of reserve and she invited us to the winery the next day. After sight-seeing, we stopped by the winery to be greeted, by name, by Karen. She seated us out on the picturesque deck and aided us in ordering a pair of wine flights and cheese pairings. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the afternoon spent with Karen. The wine, the cheese, the ambience, the charm and genuineness of Karen made this a day to remember. Thanks to Karen, we spent more money with Icicle Ridge than anywhere else on our trip. Now before you go thinking that this old (51) man was wooed by a beautiful creature, the wine definitely stands on its own. Getting to know Karen was a benefit that made the wine just that more valuable.
We are proud to be new members of Icicle Ridge Winery and friends with Karen!

“Amazing! Will be back!”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

This place rocks! There is no tasting bar like other wineries. You seat yourself at a table and let the tasting begin! They only have about 6 or 8 offerings, but you can try them all for the 5.00 tasting fee. The wines are exceptional, and the atmosphere relaxed. It's in a beautiful log cabin home. I will be back!

“Good wine & cheese!”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

We had a great experience at Icicle Ridge. For $5 you can sample all of their wines on their tasting list...we tried 8! If you buy a bottle of wine the tasting is free. The winery is beautiful and the log home that was converted into the winery is amazing! You can buy different kinds of cheese & crackers to pair with your wine - Go for the staff fav: Flagship! The only thing we would have liked more of was information...it was my husband's first trip to a winery and he wanted to learn more instead of just taste. Overall, it was a wonderful visit!
