This is a local favorite, locally owned and operated. The food is genuine, and the service is warm and friendly.

It took 25 minutes to get our breakfast. The waitress was not nice, never smiled or checked on us. We wanted orange juice while we waited- hard to flag her down. It seemed she hated her job and we were a inconvenience to her. The food came, smaller portions, wish I took a picture of the "short haul" plates, hardly anything on that big plate. We asked what the fresh pies were and so we order a slice of the berry pie; it had been sitting on that plate for at least a day (uncovered) as it was formed, stuck on the plate like rubber/jam. 4 of us eating; $54.00 (4 meals, 2 juices). We are not going back.

A good stop on the way out of town as were drive to Seattle. It does get crowded, but they usually keep the coffee flowing while you wait. The usual restaurant foods. A popular spot with the locals.

This is the real deal - classic roadside comfort food like your Grandma wished she could have made.

Folks from all around the area know that these guys serve the best home made pies in the region.
