I stayed at the Best Western in Pasco in early April. This brand new hotel (it opened in January of 2005) still has the new building smell to it!
The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a nice indoor pool, hot tub and good fitness area. The lobby area is the hotel's nicest feature. There is a fountain separating the sitting area from the registration desk. The large sitting area also is the place to go for your complimentary continental breakfast. Bring your appetite, because they offer a lot of different things here from do it yourself waffles to eggs and sausage to gravy and biscuits and of course, the more normal "continental breakfast" items you would come to expect at a business hotel.
If you are taking a flight from the nearby Pasco airport or have business at Columbia Basin Community College across the street, this location is ideal. The only negative is that there is little to do here unless you want to golf at the course next to the hotel. Pasco has a lack of good restaurants and the sports bar at the Red Lion Hotel next door was not very impressive (to begin with....no sports).
If you are looking for good food, parks or entertainment, head across the river to Kennewick or to nearby Richland.
