We spent three nights in the Lodge and enjoyed it. The rooms are larger than expected, and have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Plenty of storage area for gear and clothing. There is ample hot water for a long shower to rid yourself of the hiking dust. Fresh towels each day. Full housekeeping each day.

Free hot breakfast each morning includes good coffee, bagels, biscuits, scrambled eggs, sausage, and there are waffle makers. There is juice and fresh fruit. All is much better than the usual mid-range hotel chains.

This place is definitely above average for a mountain town hotel.

Note that your GPS does NOT know the location. It is slightly south of the town.

Room tip: It is worth the steps to be on the top (second) floor for quiet.

Excellent place to spend the night while visiting Mt Rainier NP. The room was very clean and spacious. It included wine tasting in the evening and a great breakfast in the morning. There was also a Kuerig coffee maker in the room. The woman working at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay again on our next trip to Mt Rainier.

First, let me warn you your GPS might not give you the correct location for this motel. It is just outside the south city limits. It is only 6 years old and is very well maintained. The room we had was very spacious with 2 queen sized beds, a large dresser and a small table with chairs. A/C worked great. I only wish they had a privacy curtain on the window that looked out onto the parking lot. You can get 2 complimentary glasses of wine each evening. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, along with yogurt, muffins, English muffins and toast.

Nice welcome, with glasses of wine. good bed, wifi connection included (good quality). Hot breakfast included.
Front desk is helpful and nice. Location close to the entrance of the Mount Rainier National Park easy to stay before or after a hike!
Will definitely choose again the room if to come back.
Can be a little bit noisy if you are on the ground floor and upper room is occupied but not enough to disturb sleep.

Very clean. They were the only ones in Packwood that was open passed 10PM if you are looking for a room. It was still off season and quiet. It ran $140+ on a Monday night, May 1. I believe all rooms have 2 beds. There's a refrig. and micro wave. It is family owned so no discounts (AAA, senior, etc.) will not be honored.
