We stayed with our 3 kids and dog in the cottage during mid April and had a very nice time for 3 days. The owners live onsite and can provide everything from dining recommendations to fresh eggs and garden vegetables. There are several animals onsite including a pony, goats and chickens. They are all friendly and approachable. Our kids loved the fire pit for smorse, the row boat, the beach, little garden zip line, swings, hammock, and feeding apples to their pony Buddy. Its not to far from the ferry and Eastsound the main town on Orcas.

We enjoyed a quiet respite from the big city at Pebble Cove this spring. It was a memorable 2 days hiking during the day and coming back to the peaceful setting of the farm. We would sit outside on our deck and watch the pony, goats and chickens grazing by the water each evening. The hot tub is a welcoming day end treat to soothe tired hiking legs. We look forward to a return visit.

Stayed in the family suite with my girlfriend - it was about the right size for two people. The two room suite was very new and quite nice. Big patio doors open out to a communal deck with a beautiful view of Pebble Cove. The property is several acres with a nice minature horse and many goats and chickens! There is little rowboat to take out into the cove which was a lot of fun - two curious harbor seals followed us around!

Some negatives were a lack of privacy - there is one deck/walkway in front of all the rooms so people are frequently walking in front of your bedroom window. Also a floodlight on a motion sensor kept turning on and illuminating our bedroom curtains.

Room Tip: Overall a very neat spot!

Our family, which includes our sweet Havanese, stayed in the family suite which looks over the lawn to the waters of Massacre Bay. Our daughter enjoyed fetching fresh eggs from the chicken coop, the swings, play house, and pony. Our dog enjoyed watching the chickens and goats meandering around the garden. Husband and I enjoyed the VERY clean and VERY comfortable bedroom with bath attached and french doors looking out to the water and the stars. So quiet and lovely. Positioned well on Orcas so that driving west to Deer Harbor or east to Eastsound or Moran State Park is easy. The proprietor welcomed us personally and provides soaps that are environmentally sensitive and organic snacks, homemade granola and the best orange juice on the planet. The creamery milk awaits you in the mini fridge. Can't say enough good things about this place. If you own a dog, you know how diifficult it is to find a place that welcomes a pet. After two stays, we can give it two thumbs up! We loved it here. Hope not too many discover it so it becomes impossible to book!

Room Tip: All suites are waterfront looking out to beautiful and serene Massacre Bay.

We stayed at pebble cove farm last summer for 3 nights with our toddler who was 21 months at the time. It was the perfect place for a toddler or older kids, as well as for mom and dad. We stayed in the suite, which is a one room with a bathroom and has a deck right outside where you can BBQ/eat dinner or drink some wine at night. The hot tub is also right outside, so one night we put our kiddo down and went to the hot tub -- it's definitely within baby monitor range (and probably even within ear shot) so you can relax for a few minutes and still be close to your little ones. There was so much to entertain our son on the farm that we barely wanted to leave -- horses, goats, and chickens to feed, a swing set, play house, garden, and beach front to explore rocks and shells, plus a big grassy lawn to run around. But we did explore the island as well and it felt like a good base from which to explore. You definitely need a car in order to access most of the things you'll want to see on orcas. The main town is about a 10-15 min drive and we went in for coffee in the morning (though the farm has delicious coffee to brew in your room -- it was more we just wanted a little outing into town), and getting to Moran state park (mount constitution, etc) is probably about a 20-25 minute drive. There are some closer hikes to the farm too that are worth exploring. The owners/hosts were very welcoming and available without being intrusive. The only possible drawbacks are not huge rooms (the suites that is -- I think the cottage is bigger), so if you have more than one kid it might be a tight squeeze. The in suite kitchen is pretty minimal (fridge, microwave, hot plate) though definitely workable -- for dinners the BBQ outside is probably the best bet. And if you go, bring extra layers because its chilly in the morning, as well as shoes you don't mind getting dirty (some stray animal poop around). But definitely worth a stay -- a real little gem. I would go back for sure and recommend it to couples or young families.

We stayed in the cabin at Pebble Cove and found it to be just perfect. The kids loved everything about the place - the rowboat, the zipline, the pony, the playhouse, and we loved the quiet. There were games and movies for the rainy times. The location is just amazingly beautiful - we even had a double rainbow on Saturday night! Nice treats and coffee when we arrived, along with fresh milk and orange juice. It's very private - even though the farm was fully booked we hardly saw anyone - it was like we had it to ourselves. It was just all-around a wonderful find.

Our family stayed at Pebble Cove Farm over spring break last month, and we were so amazed by this beautiful retreat. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious and cozy for the two of us, our two boys (5 and 8), and our small dog. The French Doors opened out onto a large deck that overlooked the yard where the goats, chickens, and pony (Buddy) meandered about. Past the yard was a lovely little beach with a hammock and a rowboat we used to row out to one of the islands to explore. Everything about Pebble Cove was charming and well-considered - the homemade granola, the local milk and juice bottles in the fridge, the locally roasted coffee (which was delicious!), the fresh eggs we gathered in the morning for our breakfast... add to all this a phenomenal location, and it was pretty close to heaven. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: The family suite was perfect for our family of four.
