Having lived in Olympia for 60 of my 62 years and within a scant mile of Priest Point Park, this is one of my most favorite parts of the City. It is a diverse park, having a long beach area on the west to explore, there is a creek running into the bay on the north side, the east side of the Park is a great spot for picnics, reading, hiking or studying plant life. The little bridge over East Bay Drive is a fun way to get from one side to the other plus there is a pretty nice playground for families with children of all ages. Picnic tables are on both sides of East Bay, most with covers. It's a nice way to spend a day.
