“Walk the best waterfront dock anywhere.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2012

Start at the 4th Avenue Bridge and wind your way to the viewing tower at the Port of Olympia stopping along the way to view art and have a cool drink and food in many lovely places along the way. The best walk in town.

“Great Place for a Stroll”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

Located just west of downtown Olympia, Percival landing is a great place to stroll on a lovely summer day. There is a lot to see along the way - Budd Bay, boats, outdoor art/sculpture, a park for children, and restaurants. During festivals, the Landing is filled with arts & crafts booths, another fun outing.

“A great Olympia landmark”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

When people come to Olympia they usually visit and take photos of the state capitol grounds and buildings. Percival Landing is a great place to relax and take a walk along the water. Be sure and stop at the Richard Beyer statue of the Kissing Couple at the end of the boardwalk on 4th Avenue and take a photo.

“Go for a walk.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

What a wonderful place for a stroll. Dreaming about which boat I'd like to buy, seeing jellyfish in the water, kids playing in the park, a couple of nice shops and a wonderful farmers market. If I lived in Olympia I'd be there often.

“Summer Fun for Kids, Respite For Adults :)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2012 via mobile

Have a good day with little kids beginning at the fountain (across the street from the south end of the landing) where they can play in the water. Towel them off and then walk across the street to the landing. Check out the sail boats docked there, or on a Saturday, tour "The Sandman" tug boat. Pause and enjoy the art along the boardwalk while the kids discover the new play area. For adults, visit a cafe on the boardwalk or The Olympia Seafood Company or The Wine Loft for some local flavor & later respite :) Then take the short walk to the end of the path and check out the timber being loaded on ships, enjoy the view of the Puget Sound, and the mountains in the distance. Follow the boardwalk back to the fountain and sit and enjoy some ice cream at Traditions Cafe or a hand-dipped shake around the corner at Cascadia Grill. These are mostly kid friendly stops and you may have burned 2 hours of their energy!
