My hubby and I had a great get away here. We booked a king suite with a jetted tub. The tub was above the bed in a loft. It was perfect with lots of room for 2. I think 4 would be manageable but a bit crowded. We had a great view of the ocean from the lower floor (no view from the tub). The room has a wet bar with a sink, microwave, and fridge. The bed was super comfortable and we had a gas fireplace as well. Nice relaxing amenities for a couple’s get away.

Breakfast is included and contained a few hot items: eggs, ham, waffles, and the usual continental breakfast items.

Note . . .
The pool was closed during our visit Jan 6-8.

We reserved this hotel for our boys' birthdays for 12/28-12/30. The one thing they wanted was a hotel with a pool. After specifically putting a pool in our search criteria online, we chose this hotel because it had one. But when we got there they told us the pool is closed, which the website didn't say when we reserved the room. So upon check-in when they told us the pool is closed, we asked if we could simply switch to their sister hotel (Quality Inn) just down the street, which does have a working pool. We were told "no" with no explanation why not. So we went up to our room and called the 800 customer service number to try to get it resolved that way, but no one was willing to work with us. They told us we had to call back *after* our stay to get it resolved, which makes no sense because by then our stay is over. So after 45 minutes of trying to change to their sister hotel, they said they couldn't help us at all. We tried explaining that we reserved this hotel because of the advertised pool, yet since the pool is broken, and we weren't told that until we were already here (not when we reserved), they should work with us... especially since we weren't trying to cancel, just go to another of their hotels. After all that, they told us too bad. And the kicker is there's a card on the desk in our room saying they want us to be satisfied and if we aren't satisfied in any way then to let the front desk know and they'll take care of it, which we tried, but they didn't care.
Upon check-in on Friday, we were told the pool would be fixed by the following day (Saturday). Sometime around noon on Saturday, we asked when the pool would be open and we were told within 2-2.5 hours. We went down the the pool at 6:00 that night (six hours after we asked) and it was still closed. Sunday morning was our last day and it was still closed then, with no apologies or explanation. I firmly believe they knew it was never going to be fixed while we were there and they were lying to us to placate us. Even now on the website there is nothing stating it is closed and they are still advertising a pool, so others are booking that hotel, not knowing the pool is broken.
Furthermore, Friday even our room was an oven, despite the thermostat being turned down completely as far as it will go. We had the ceiling fan on, which helped somewhat. Then suddenly around 9:30 PM, the fan shut off. We tried turning on the bedside lamps to see what happened, but they didn't work either, nor did the clock or any plug in that area. We called the front desk, but she didn't know what to do (it wasn't the entire hotel without power, just our room). We asked to be moved to another room, but she said she had to call her manager and get permission. It's insane that we had no power in our room, yet we had to plead just to be moved one room over. What a shoddy hotel.
On top of that, we paid extra money for an ocean view but they only put us on the 2nd floor. We would clearly need to be on a higher floor to see above the trees.
We absolutely did NOT get what we paid for/what was advertised. We have stayed with Choice Hotels many times and have never been treated like that, both with the staff at the hotel who blatantly lied to us, as well as the customer service when we tried to fix the problem upon check-in that first night. We fully feel as if we wasted our money.

I was treated like a QUEEN at this hotel. A third floor room facing the ocean with a fireplace is THE ticket to beauty and peace. Tylor was the absolute best front desk concierge as she was accommodating, kind and thoughtful. I wish more hotels had staff like this. The view was magnificent with trails out to the dunes and beach. Fireplace worked so well. I got so much needed rest and was so comfortable. If you choose an upgrade you might love the spacious jacuzzi or loft with a jacuzzi. This is the BEST Comfort Inn I’ve stayed in. Be sure to book in advance for best rates. Trip Advisor does offer the best online rates. There is an indoor pool and small gym.

This place rocks! The front desk attendants are very friendly, and super welcoming! They will bend over backwards just to make sure you are satisfied! I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who works at this Comfort Inn for just going the extra mile taking care of the guest. The rooms have a comfortable atmosphere, and they are very clean! I give this hotel a two thumbs way up, and I would recommend this hotel to any that asked me where to stay in Ocean shores, WA.
