“The BEST place to eat a Shrimp Boat!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2012

We always look forward to the Shrimp Boat Deli when we are in town. It is closed during the Winter but it is a very enjoyable place to go to during the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. The quality of food and service is wonderful! Their Shrimp Boat is excellent! A half a pita bread is stuffed full of shreaded lettuce and their special shrimp mixture. Fruit accompanies the Shrimp Boat as well.

We are always greeted warmly by the owners and receive wonderful service. We are able to walk along the beach since there is an opening to the beach behind The Shrimp Boat Deli. The view is really enjoyable...even when it's raining outside.

“Great Lunch Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2011

Paid a visit to this eatery after visiting a nearby attraction (Ocean Shores Interpretive Center) and heading back to town to eat. Spotted the OPEN sign, and knew it was "on my list" of places that had gotten good reviews, so we stopped. The seating is both indoors and covered outdoors, and beyond that are picnic tables on the side and spool tables oceanside in the sand. We opted for covered outdoor, catching the breeze but not the sun.

Upon recommendation of another TripAdvisor review, I ordered the Shrimp Taco, which was served on a fried tortilla. The filling included lightly-sauced shredded cabbage/slaw--the whole dish reminded me of a shrimp po' boy in a crisped tortilla shell instead of a toasted bun. It was very, very good. My husband had a hankering for a little meat, so he got the hot dog (very good) and the Clam Chowder, which was a little thin but very flavorful.

We found the food to be what we expected, the price was very reasonable, and we'd be happy to return.

“No Service Dogs Allowed!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2011

I tried to eat here I'm a 100% Disabled Veteran with a registered Service dog.
I was told No dogs allowed in here!
Then he said something about health codes.
I've been with my service dog to places all over the world!
This is the only restaurant that wouldn't let me eat in their place.

“Good food.... interesting place.... To high of priced....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2011

The place looks like a whole in the wall. The outside seating accomodates only two people per table. They are not very kid friendly. It is overpriced. There are a lot of insects in the place since they keep the doors open... Now on to the good. The Crab melt is super yummy. We are from New England and the clam chowder is comparable which means it is the best. They serve alcohol. If it wasnt for the small portions and lack of kid service we would go back for the crab melts.....

“Out of the way, not worth the drive”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2011

This joint is 10 minutes from the main drag, only a small hole in the wall that doesn't seem to be open all the time. It's really out of the way and not worth it...
