“Good food.... interesting place.... To high of priced....”
Reviewed July 1, 2011

The place looks like a whole in the wall. The outside seating accomodates only two people per table. They are not very kid friendly. It is overpriced. There are a lot of insects in the place since they keep the doors open... Now on to the good. The Crab melt is super yummy. We are from New England and the clam chowder is comparable which means it is the best. They serve alcohol. If it wasnt for the small portions and lack of kid service we would go back for the crab melts.....

“Out of the way, not worth the drive”
Reviewed May 5, 2011

This joint is 10 minutes from the main drag, only a small hole in the wall that doesn't seem to be open all the time. It's really out of the way and not worth it...

“Best Shrimp Taco this side of So Cal”
Reviewed April 17, 2011

Pros: The best view of any sit down resteraunt in Ocean shores. You can sit, hang out and watch the water...right on the beach. - The Shrimp taco is out of this world good! the owner/cook/host uses his special recipe that is reminiscent of the good baja type tacos you get way down south. All of the food is well priced. You can take a nice walk on the beach before or after your meal. Local, owner operator so you will get well cared for. My favorite is the shrimpl taco or the crab melt...but the clam chowder is awefully good too! It is just a really nice warm, sunny, fun place that is unpretenciously good.
The cons: Limited menu. (though there is always a special you just won't find everything here) It is small (they just expanded a bit but it fills up quickly) It is away from "town" (I actually like this part of the place but many folks don't make it down to that part of Ocean Shores)

“Amazing Shrimp Cocktail with an Ocean View”
Reviewed October 19, 2010

This is my favorite lunch destination when visiting Ocean Shores. The restaurant is small and the menu is simple, but who needs that when you can you sit outside watching the waves, with a cold beer an order of Shrimp Cocktail with a ton of big Shrimp, steamer clams and a toasty crab melt. The prices are terrific, $8.95 for the Shrimp Cocktail (since I'm used to Seattle prices) and the service is fantastic, the owners Rob and Maria are very friendly (as the rest of the staff). This hidden little restaurant is located near Snugglers Cove, which is down by the entrance to Damon Point State Park (old Marina) 5 miles outside of the heart of Ocean Shores. It's worth the drive from anywhere, we are actually planning on making this a day trip every couple of months

“Hidden Gem with Terrific Views”
Reviewed July 22, 2010

This is our favorite sunny day lunch destination when staying at our vacation house in Ocean Shores. The restaurant is small and the menu is simple, but nowhere else in Ocean Shores can you sit outside watching the waves, with a cold glass of wine and a toasty crab melt. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. This hidden gem is located near the entrance to Damon Point State Park, away from the downtown core. It's worth the drive!
