Every year we meet our friends for a farewell breakfast buffet at Maraih's at the closing of the annual motorcycle rally in Ocean Shores. My husband and I agree, it's a great social gathering, but the food leaves much to be desired. Buffet has bacon, sausage, eggs, all the usual fare. Fruit is canned, pasteries are store bought. Service is hometown friendly. But tradition will live on, and we'll be there again next year.

We had good service and good food here. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere, felt comfortable and welcome. Pretty flowers outside the windows to look at.

We enjoyed our meal and the friendly service. Shrimp was very tender and fresh served with the chef's own recipe of a slightly sweet and sour sauce. Prices were quite reasonable. Several seafood dishes as well as steak and prime rib. An extensive menu.

We've always enjoyed Mariah's but this year, instead of 2 visits during our vacation, we made only one! The server was scattered, the busboy was wonderful however. He should be the server or a host! Where to begin...ok the shrimp appetizer was palatable, but our son's fettuccini alfredo with prawns had a lot of hair in it! I was missing a fork for the first 10 minutes after we were served, until the busboy caught that our server forgot my fork. She also forgot to bring the bread and other things that we know are part of their usual service. Our new york steaks were grey and unappetizing, the mushrooms were from a can and they were sickeningly sweet. The carrots were overcooked, and covered in sugar, and the mashed potatoes were drowned in some kind of hideous country gravy. I've never seen that before and hope to never see it again.

The baked potato was served with a single dollup of margerine. When I asked about sour cream and chives, the waitress said "that's all in there" which was definately not the case. All we can say is EW, and we won't be back. To top it off, the bathrooms were about 20 degrees hotter than the restaurant, very odd. This place has gone down hill significantly. There were just a handfull of diners in the restaurant. THey need the restaurant Impossible guy to come through and shake things down! Woah!
