“we loved it.”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

I had never stayed at a Staybridge before this one. After my experience here, I will always try to stay at a Staybridge wherever we go, although it doesn't seem like there are that many around. I also don't know if another Staybridge would do as good of a job since this one is managed independently. Room and common areas were modern and clean. Good variety of food at breakfast and the guy working there worked SO hard to ensure everything was always stocked. Pool open 24 hours which is rare for a hotel. Pool area was very nice. 24 hour access to the complimentary soda machine, iced tea, coffee and tea. Covered parking available. The few times I asked the front desk staff for anything, they went above and beyond to be helpful. The service here made it feel like a five star hotel to me. The one night we participated in the free dinner, they had mac & cheese which was yummy. There was also salad. My only disappointment was that the complimentary wine (served with the free dinner) was Sutter Home. Everything else about this hotel seemed so classy to me, so I was kind of just expecting something a little nicer than Sutter Home. The pinot grigio surprisingly tasted pretty good, but I reluctantly had to pour out the cabernet.

Our family loves staybridge suites but this one puts icing on the cake. A family of six fit perfectly into their two bedroom suite. Ideally located to the Boeing assembly plant and just down the road from whidbey island ferry. Hotel staff was excited and enthusiastic to help us. The pool is small but just what a young family needs to unwind and relax. Morning breakfast and the evening manger's special greeting really draw people out of the rooms for a relaxing environment that many seek when on extended stays. We plan on making a trip back!!!

I try and stay with Staybridge anytime I can as I know what to expect. This hotel is the best Staybridge I have ever stayed in. It is a newer establishment and is spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and assisted us with all my requests. It had all the usual Staybridge facilities, pool, gym, laundry and the suites were top class! The hotel has easy access to the I5 highway to Seattle and there is ample shopping in the local areas. This is a top class establishment!

We just spent four evening at this better than usual Staybridge property. Wow. It is the largest and nicest of these properties we enjoyed & we've stayed at more than twenty locations. The property appears to be primarily for Boeing guests and no effort was spared! From the movie theater room to the two bedroom suite we enjoyed, this was an A+ experience. It was well worth the drive into Seattle but we ended up spending two days in the area exploring the islands. We are already planning a return trip to this location within the next year. You won't regret it!

Room Tip: We asked for a room on the first floor and were well pleased. No noise! The lobby and dining area ar...

It only took us 30 minutes to get downtown even on a holiday weekend, but we probably paid at least $100 less a night and got so much more for the money. We paid $134-$145/night for a suite that was comfortable for the three of us (including my 6 foot son), complete with full kitchen (refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker). It's the only hotel in this particular area with an indoor swimming pool.

Mukilteo is next to a wooded area with a great running/biking trail, about 15 minutes from I-5. But here's what I loved about it: tons of smart touches. For example, acoustic tiled hallway ceilings and carpeting meant that I couldn't hear the 6 teenaged girls I saw enter a room across the hall at midnight. I thought, "Oh great, I'll be hearing them for a while." But that was not the case.

I counted 21 different items at breakfast - one of the biggest spreads I've seen. For families, they have several high top tables with individually controlled flat screens (to which you can plug in earphones). They have separate guest storage closets that I suppose they rent (it's close to Boeing, and I'm sure their business travelers use it... but it would be nice for long-distance travelers who don't want to drag all of their stuff while visiting the area). Nice linens; even the foldout couch seemed pretty comfortable.

Pretty sweet deal! Great staff, too

Dear betsysSacramento,

Thank you for the great review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Staybridge Suites in Mukilteo. It sounds like we were a convenient location and had everything you needed while in the Greater Seattle area.

Thank you for your comments about how quiet it was during your stay. We are nestled up to the wooded Japanese Gulch and as you mentioned you can bike, walk or run at your leisure while enjoying nature and the great trails the City of Mukilteo has created. Soon it will lead all the way to Mukilteo’s Lighthouse Park on the water and the Ferry Dock.

It is great to hear that you enjoyed the extra touches that mean so much to travelers for a day or an extended period of time. Just to note the storage rooms are complimentary as well for exactly that purpose. You don’t have to pack and pay for luggage each week if you are a road warrior and travel Monday through Friday each week. We try to help ease that expense.

Thank you again for your kind words and we hope you will come back and see us next time you are in the Mukitleo area.

Our Director of Sales and myself, just returned from a great stay in Sacramento for business where we stayed at another Staybridge there. We hope you will keep in it the family and enjoy our brand in other cities you visit. Take Care, see you soon!

We spent one night here and found it to be very quite and clean. Room had pretty much everything one would need to be comfortable. Free self laundry was available as well as fitness centre, swimming pool and little mini golf course. The building itself was a maize and it was very difficult to find places though. I guess it is okay once you figure it out. One thing that I didn't like was that in order to get into the swimming pool, which is indoor, you actually have to go out and walk through an open roof corridor and then enter into the swimming pool, which i think was pretty bizzare. second option was to go into the pool through the cafeteria where people were eating and that's what we ended up doing because i didn't want my 4 year old to get sick.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on 3rd or 4th floor above the reception counter so you have everything nearby, ie fi...

Dear szain,

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and found the hotel amenities favorable. We will take the comments about finding your way around to heart and make sure that we spend a little more time at check in explaining the map to our guests. This is a great training opportunity or refresher for the front desk as we approach the summer season. Please come back and see us again soon.

Near Boeing, good location. You really can't go wrong with Staybridge. I have stayed in Staybridge Hotels in many states over the years. They are always clean, modern, well appointed and accommodating. They always have up to a 2-bedroom suite with kitchenettes for us with larger families.

The Everett location is no exception. Large, clean, inviting, underground parking, good access to some shops and restaurants. They have a large indoor theatre room to watch movies, outdoor patio with BBQ grills. Golf putting outside. The only thing I wished they had was a basketball court. The morning breakfast is fantastic with good assortment of hot and cold foods, juices and coffee.

Jazz 99Spokane,

Thank you for staying with us and being loyal to our brand. We are glad you and your family were comfortable during your stay. The next time you come back please ask about our complementary passes to the local YMCA. They have great basketball courts both inside and out depending on our weather. It is only blocks away and we can drive you in our shuttle.
