This Mexican restaurant is one of two regulars of ours in this vicinity. It's off the south side of 220th in Mountlake Terrace, just west of I-5. Parking is ample in the evenings, which is the only time we've visited. The interior of the restaurant features an atmosphere of something like perhaps a cantina, with beautifully-painted walls, and what seems like being in a courtyard in Mexico in the middle. Wait staff add to this feel in their attire, and it's this atmosphere which is a major appeal of this restaurant. However, the substance doesn't disappoint, either. Ample and tasty food, with competitive prices, comfortable seating. Be wary if you go on a Friday night, however, as the restaurant's bar on the eastern end has karaoke that evening, and the sounds penetrates the restaurant on the western end. In our multiple times there, fortunately, the quality of the singers has exceeded that of cats on the fence, though one came close!
