“Awsome buffet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

Something for everyone from the seafood to the fried chicken to the sushi. I mostly ate the seafood of crab legs, prawns, calamari, clams, salmon and mussells. I only wish I had room for the ham, roast and fried chicken. So much to choose from and the quality was very good. Good food and good value.

“Pretty looking food, but it doesn't taste good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

It you want to look at food you will be impressed, but if you are looking for flavor you should not go out of your way to eat at Royal Star Buffet.
We scooped up one dish after another hoping it would taste as good as it looked, and were disappointed every time. The entrees were hopeless.
The best food seemed to be the salad items and certain fresh fruit pieces.
Even the desert items looked very nice but were not worth the calories.
We won't be back.

“Standard Buffet”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012

Two of us ate here on a Wednesday evening. It was nothing special and I won't be returning. Have to admit I haven't dined at this type of buffet for a long time and as it was the first day of a two day trip I was cautious with food choices. The mashed potatoes tasted funky, beef roast was very dry. The fried chicken was okay. Really nothing memorable at all here.
The cost was approx $12 per person and the food was mediocre along with the service.
The one plus was the eager to please gentleman that was the cook at the Mongolian style grill.

“Old food, unsweet dessert”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2012

The food was leftover and heated up - not a good idea at a buffet. I thought I could cancel the disappointment with a bit of chocolate cake. Didn't work.

Hubby tried almost everything hoping for something good. That didn't work, either.

The food is just plain bad.

“Great Buffet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2012

This was a lunch for one. Tried a wide variety, from Sushi to Garlic toast. Thought they were all quite good. Especially liked the fact that they had spicy dishes. Not as spicy as I would like but better than most buffets.
