“Very Good Motel Not That Far From Mt. Rainier”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Great find not far from Mt. Rainier. The Seasons Motel is in the small town of Morton - about 45 minutes from the Nisqually entrance to the National Park. There a few restaurants in town, including a good mexican restaurant in the same parking lot as the motel. We stayed for a night after leaving Portland in the late afternoon, and not wanting to drive all the way to the park. It worked out perfect. Was able to get up, eat the free breakfast at the motel, and be at the park before the crowds.

The rooms at the Seasons are spacious and clean, including the bathroom. The room had a comfortable bed, a large tv with cable, a refrigerator, plus a table and a couple of chairs. We had no issues at all with our room. It was comfortable, and reasonably priced.

As I mentioned, there is free coffee and breakfast in the lobby, including eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, yogurt, muffins and other stuff. The food was nothing to rave about, but there was plenty of it and was certainly good enough to fill up before a day of hiking.

I would definitely stay here again, if looking to stop somewhere a little outside of Mt. Rainier.

Having been in the mountains all day and no place to stay that night, we didn't really have much to choose from without driving further. The owners are nice and they do a great job keeping a clean property. However, I find it a bit odd that this was the most expensive property we stayed at during our 8 day trip in the Seattle/Portland area. And we even had the AAA rate. Mattresses need some updating, so my back told me. The rate does include a decent breakfast. Although located fairly close to a busy highway, the noise wasn't all that bad.

Stayed here in August 2013 while touring the Mt. Rainier and St. Helens area on motorcycles. The town of Morton is centeral to many great roads and the Seasons is a good place to stay. Rooms clean, nice owner/operators. Motorcycle friendly. Close to a fun Mexican cafe. Good included breakfast. Rates are not cheap, but reasonable.

This motel is not bad at all. The motel is clean, quiet, small.

I had to stop driving and it had been a long day, and Morton was a stopping point. Funny I have been going to Morton for 7 years now for work and have never stayed here. It was a clean place to lay my head down for 7 hours and head back out for work.

Room Tip: Get a ground floor you can park your car right at your front door.

I sopped there on the way from the coast to Yakima and was feeling pretty sick. The lady at the front desk was very kind and offered me hot tea. It's location close to Ranier is great. I had to leave before their breakfast but it looked to be better than many free breakfasts. The bed was comfortable , the widow opened and I slept we'll. not furnished up my standards but was functional.

We called on a day in the middle of July and got a room at a reasonable rate right away. Susan, at the front desk was very helpful and friendly always. The breakfast is worth the stay. Start with homemade waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and on from there to the usual 'continental' breakfast fare. It was clean and we had all we needed. The room wasn't large but adequate. I did not care for the bedding. I felt too warm in it and on it but that's personal preference. Altogether, I heartily recommend this motel.

We stayed here 7-19-13 and were very happy with the excellent location and super motel services and friendliness. I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. They go out of their way to be sure your stay is what you hoped for and wanted. We were surprised to find such a nice place in such a remote area between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. The motel is large and easy to find with nice rooms and they provide breakfast too. There are other restaurants close by if you are seeking other meals.
