My husband and I stayed here for the night to celebrate our anniversary and have a night to ourselves. I am pleased to say that our first stay here went very well. There were a few cons but I'll get to those in a minute.
Check-in was fast, easy and the lady who checked us in was very kind and courteous.
We had a room on the 11th floor and had a view of the back parking lot and if you looked to the left of the window, we could see I-5.
The room was very large and the furnishings were very modern and I loved the theme too.
There was a king sized bed, a 47 inch tv, desk, mini bar, comfy chair and a bench at the foot of the bed. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint about the bed was the pillows. They were horrible! Kind of like flour sacks. They were hard and hurt my neck.
The bed was soft and the sheets were nice too.
The bathroom was awesome!! Walk-in shower with 3 heads, two really comfy robes to walk around in, and cute little shampoo, conditioner, soap etc... There was a hair dryer and the bath towels were really nice. Make-up bench, granite counter tops, 2 sinks, good lighting.
The toilet was enclosed but there wasn't a fan in there. Too bad if you have a husband who likes to stink up the toilet!
The room did feel kind of stuffy. I'm used to sleeping with a fan going, or a window cracked. We couldn't adjust the thermostat, so that was a bummer.
The mini bar had all sorts of goodies in it, kinda spendy though. The bottled water was free and we also got a free newspaper in the morning.
We had dinner at the Cedars Cafe...that was nice.
Casino was very smokey. Lots of people. Had to wait forever in line to sign up for a rewards card. At 7pm there was only one rewards card booth open. The casino was packed. Why only one booth open?
Room service was great. A little pricey but our server was very polite and courteous.
We will be coming back to this hotel as we really did have a good time here. The front desk and restaurant staff we great.
Our room came with a breakfast buffet at Eagles Buffet....I would recommend that! Yummy!!!
