We had such a good time at this place. It was super, super clean and the staff was very cordial. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It was almost like staying in a big house. All rooms are quiet and private and everyone shares a large living/dining area. The refrigerator was well stocked with items for snacks and breakfast. Each room has satellite TV, as well as a small refrigerator. The only reason I cannot give them 5 stars is the location, and that is beyond their control. They are at a sharp turn and there is a lot of traffic very close to the building. So, not much outdoor space unless you want to cross the highway. Still a very good place to stay and we will definitely go again!

Room Tip: We had room #4 and it was very private.

This is one of the most beautifully maintained and extremely clean motels I have ever stayed in. The beds are super comfortable and all of our needs are taken care of with everything taken care of! The continental breakfast has everything! I loved my stay and will come back again!

Room Tip: Room 10 is great if you have a family with a travel crib!

Our room with its bubble tub was beautifully turned out and as neat as a pin, and the beds were quite comfortable. As for the restaurant, the service is friendly, our son thought the deep-fried Cascade Mountain Oysters appetizer (Buffalo testes) was awesome, and I took on -- and took out -- the astonishingly huge Tatonka burger! That 1-lb, lean buffalo patty makes for one serious meal, no fooling.

The owners, Marshall and Candy, are charming. We'll be back.

Room Tip: For a really posh room, go for #6!

This is such a lovely Inn. We stayed in room 8 and it was perfect for the two of us. The place is clean, comfortable and there is a nice common area to sit and enjoy breakfast. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. The owners are great people and fun to talk to. They make great bloody mary coctails. Overall you will enjoy relaxing in this place after a nice day hike.

Love this place...In one of the most beautiful places I've ever been...reasonably priced...owners are really great, very hospitable...made sure we had plenty of snacks stocked up for us after our long day of hiking...I highly recommended checking this place out...we stayed in February, so we had the place to ourselves...

Room #1 was fine, nicely decorated, comfortable bed. The only suggestion I could make is that a small table is put on the window side. Also, my husband complained that there was a lot of road noise during the night since the window is at street level. I did not hear it though.
The decor was updated with large sized bathroom. Breakfast was included, which was great. Good quality and lots of choices. Coffee was good as well. Yes, keep that in mind, no cell phone service here.

Dinner was at the Buffalo Run and you receive 15% with room registration. Dinner was delicious with lots of choices there as well. Right across the street, so it was convenient. Two gas stations and a post office in this area as well. 15 miles to the North Cascades visitor station
where the staff there were so helpful as well.

This place doesn't look much from the outside, but the rooms on the ground floor are very nice, and not too expensive considering there isn't much accommodation in the area close to the NP. We stayed in room 4, which was nicely furnished and had a coffee maker, full fridge and microwave plus tv and internet access. There is a good selection of items for the continental breakfast which is included in the cost. There is also a 10% discount on the menu prices for the Buffalo Run Restaurant over the road, which is where you register for the motel. The food in the restaurant is quite good, but rather overpriced (captive audience, not much available in the area). The place is a bit like a self service bed and breakfast rather than a motel (only 5 or 6 rooms on the ground floor) with a separate dining area for breakfast. I would certainly recommend this place, and would be happy to stay again.

Thank you for the nice four star review! The restaurant and the hotel each are seperate businesses and has its own review page. For a fair review, each business should be reviewed seperately for its merits or faults!
