Szechuan 99 is forever gone. New owners took over as well as a new chef hence the new name TASTE OF SICHUAN. No more house made tofu, no more hot pot, no more hand shaven noodles or their famous "Chicken with Small Pepper" or "Ma Po Tofu". Their Ma Po was too vinegary and after a few bites, decided to throw it out. Although their menu is extensive and the place has been remodeled, the food is not the same. Be forewarned if you plan to go...

We drove over to this restaurant just this past week hoping for some delicious won ton soup as one of the reviewers rated 'exceptional', only to find the restaurant under construction. We didn't call before going, so as of 9/11/13 this restaurant is closed....be forewarned!

Their won ton soup is exceptional! Tons of won tons (usually more than 20 in the large bowl) for under $7. The BBQ pork is good, too. If you are dieting & you ask, they will not add oil to the soup.

Went with my daughter and her good friend. They both have lived in China and know good Chinese food. We've been to China for several weeks and never had food this tasty there. The service was good and the food was some of the most tasty Chinese food we've ever had. Daughter and friend had hot pot which they thoroughly enjoyed. We had a wide selection of the mains and all were first rate. This place isn't easy to find but is worth the seeking if good Chinese food is the goal. The actual name is Szechuan 99.
