My wife and I eat at Milts quite often, and for three reasons:
1) It is locally owned, and we want to support the local family.
2) We love the community service the offer through the free outdoor movies on Saturday nights during the Summer.
3) They offer gluten-free pizza crusts and sandwich buns.
The only reason we don't eat there more frequently is that we are both trying to lose about 20 pounds and pizza isn't real conducive to accomplishing that goal. ;-)
That said, the pizza consistency is up and down. I've never had a "bad" one, but depending on who makes it, the pizza will be anything from good to excellent. The medium $6.99 special is pretty appealing, since a Milt's medium is as big as other restaurants' larges.
They have Mack & Jacks on tap which is a real plus.
Wait times are usually very reasonable, even when the place is busy. The staff is friendly and helpful; at times, even playful.
One drawback is that the tables are not bussed very quickly. Sometimes you walk in and see 6 - 8 tables that need cleaned.
