Owner description: Located just on the outskirts of Lynden, Homestead Golf and Country Club winds its way across what was once fertile dairy land and is now one of the real surprises of Northwest Washington golf. This is a true resort course, with wide landing areas and multiple tees for the recreational golfer and length, doglegs and hidden hazards to challenge players with some game. And it is the only course in Washington with a par five that plays into an island green. This beautiful finishing hole has been voted best par 5 finishing hole in the state. We welcome you to join us.

THE COURSE: GREENS, fairways in really good shape. The sand traps and tee areas need lots of work. really good prices, especially on Sunday after 1 PM.

Staff is very good and is easy to work with.
Also available a restaurant and steak house.

Went on a guys golf trip to Washington (From the lower mainland in BC). Had two rounds of golf and this was our second stop. Nice course. Good amount of technical elements given the topography. It's flat farmland so it was a nice surprise. Many holes flanked by houses but there were no casualties from us. Only 10-15 minutes from the Sumas or Aldergrove border crossings. They took Canadian at par for course fee.

We stopped here to play golf and have lunch. The staff here were very helpful and very friendly. The food at lunch was great and very reasonable. The golf course was in very nice shape and enjoyable to play.

The pro shop staff member (I didn't get his name but he deserves a big thank you) was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. He made us feel very welcome and this was our first time there. The golf course is in beautiful condition. The fairways were pristine and the greens rolled true. If I have one negative, it is that the bunkers have a lot of larger stones in them, but, the course was in such great shape that one can overlook that...just stay out of the traps. The course can be as challenging or as forgiving as you would like depending on which tees you choose to play. Some holes require that you know how far you "really" hit your clubs in order to lay up or present yourself with the best opportunity to hit it close. All in all its a good test of golf on a great layout in a picturesque setting. I highly recommend it.
After golf we stopped in the lounge for some lunch. It was fantastic! We will definitely be back. It was most enjoyable!

Terrific course layout, good facilities. Fairways not cut, uneven mowing. Too many leaves, needed blowing.

Also need gold tees for seniors. With hi grass many holes playing well beyond listed distance
