Rural atmosphere with no frills. Come for the food and you will not be disappointed. A treasure in the middle of nowhere, well worth looking for. Easy to find just off Hwy 395 in Loon Lake.

You walk in and 1 lady to serve and cook for the whole place mind you that they have their bar downstairs! People had to call her on the phone to get her attention! Overall food ok! Nothing to hoot and hollar about! Not very clean place!

My wife and I stumbled across this place thanks to Garmen. We were out in the backwoods and the hunger pains got to us. Garmen to the rescue.

We were greeted by the owners and their young son they were very friendly and hospitable. We ordered the baby back ribs and the lady said that would be enough for the two of us to split. It was. The ribs were great and we added their own homemade BBQ sauce. They had the original and the Garlic (spicy). They were both excellent and we bought a "fifth" of the Spicy. The place mats were newspaper and the plate was a huge piece of tinfoil. Very clever, if there are leftovers (I doubt there would be), you just wrap them up in your plate and take them home. Their home made beans are great as are their potatoes au gratin and coleslaw. The whole meal was excellent. Check out the wall paper in the bathrooms. It looks like wall paper but is actually newspapers glued to the wall, a very clever and interesting to read. The meat on the ribs was falling off delicious. A very enjoyable way to have a Sunday afternoon meal. We will be back and this time I am going to try their sirloin dinner-- the owners highly recommended it. Can't go wrong here. Kids to old folks will love Luke's BBQ.

Total cost with two beers and three side dishes was $29, very reasonable and very delicious
