“WOW !!!”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

If you are a kite fanatic or a family with kids this place is for you. They have kites from all over the world and they are right there so you can see them and they give you the history of kite flying and the importance of the kite through the years; way cool thing to watch is the Balinese flying kites to catch bats and then you can make your own kite too!!!!!!!!!. The curator was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

“Good Way to Spend Some Time”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

The ladies at the desk at the front were very informative about the museum. I thought the kites were very fascinating. To see the colors, styles and uses of kites from around the world was good information. It was a nice way to spend a couple of hours. I don't know that it would be as much as a fun thing for a child as it would be for an adult, but was an enjoyment for me.

“Nice little museum”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

If you like kites this is the place to go. There were many different kinds and some history was given as well. The displays were beautiful and there were hands on things to do, ie make a kite and a paper crane. The admission was very reasonable as well.

“Kites & a little Education”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

This place had more information than I thought was possible on the subject of kites. Take the challenge of making an oragami crane. We ended up frustrated and never did get it figured out. But lots of people make them. So we guess it's possible. haha!

Stayed here for only five minutes. This place is strictly, and yes I mean it, strictly for KITE lovers.
