Industrial chic decor, awesome menu with local fare, when available, Great drinks, music with artists from Portland, and friendly staff. We kept coming back to try almost everything on the menu, watch the sunsets which are absolutely gorgeous from the fourth floor out the big windows, and listen to some really fine musicians that are brought in from out-of-town.
This place is a must see at least once, and I guarantee you'll be back.

We've ate there numerous times in the last few years, it's always excellent, the staff is very professional, there's a small bar inside the restaurant, they serve local micro beers, and a selection of locally crafted and imported spirits, plus many selections of locally caught seafood, including fish, crab, etc., they normally have live music on the weekends, and it has great views of the ocean, and is located only a few hundred feet from the ocean, it does get very busy there, especially during claim season, and holidays. This is also located a short walk from downtown long beach, and the boardwalk, that's right past high water mark on the ocean, bring a jacket if planning on a walk after dinning, there's normally a westerly breeze that blows in the afternoons. Also this establishment is on top to the Adrift Hotel, and the restaurant is on the fifth floor, via elevator ride from the lobby of hotel. Again, best food on Long Beach peninsula!

I returned to have the shaved Brussels sprouts Caesar & steamed clams as they were excellent on my first visit. Instead my daughter and I had the half crab and cioppino. Absolutely the best cioppino I have ever eaten! Loaded with steamers, cod, and practically a half crab. Service was impeccable. We have eaten dinner twice and been thrilled each time.

Enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel but the customer service really needs to be addressed. The female bartender was the most unfriendly bartender I have ever seen. I do not know any names because no one introduced them selves or wore name tags. The bartender seemed annoyed that she had to make drinks let alone have a conversation with a guest. She would be better suited at a service bar. No hostess, they did not take our name but asked us to wait for a table. Servers could not explain what they are serving. In an industry where customer service has a direct reflection of your income you would think the restaurant would be more friendly. Back to basics is my suggestion - learn how to greet your guest properly, seat them timely, be knowledgeable about the menu, thank guests and ask them to return. These are basics, do it with a smile and the tips will come as well as return guests.

We just dined here for the second time in the past month and once again enjoyed the great view of the beach and sunset, friendly staff, good food, and unique re-use decor. Our party shared the steamer clams--perfectly done and cooked in a flavorful spicy broth--the organic greens and beet salads, and the fennel sausage and pepperoni wood fired pizzas. Everything was very good and promptly served. For dessert we ordered the creme brulee and a chocolate pot de creme; the former was perfectly prepared but the chocolate dessert was a little overly sweet. Overall, one of the best restaurants on the peninsula
