A few people said this place was worth checking out but after eating there we weren't sure why. The service was fast and friendly but the food was so-so. Nothing that was very impressive.

While the owners are friendly and nice the food was mostly "SPECIAL RECIPES" and my wife and I were not really impressed with the flavor or the consistency of the food. Not what we expected but not necessarily bad. Pretty soupy, and lacking the kind of zesty flavor I expected.

This restaurant was among those recommended at our hotel. The food is cooked to order by a native Thai woman. We were warned that there might be a wait, but when we got there, most tables were empty. The man behind the counter spent a lot of time chatting with customers. The restaurant is one large room, so you can’t escape it. The young waitress was rather annoying by coming back repeatedly before we were ready to order.

I ordered the Happy Marriage. I forget now what the sauce was, but I found it a very delicious and would call it a stir-fry. My spouse didn’t really find anything that she thought that she’d like. She finally ordered the satay chicken and didn’t care for it. I had several bites and thought that the lemongrass sauce was really tasty and wished that I had ordered it. Our companion ordered the pad Thai and thought it was delicious (and a huge serving). I guess I’ve had too many ketchup-based pad Thai, because I didn’t find it as sweet and tasty as other times that I've had it in restaurants or at a friend's house.

We used to go to Long Beach Thai every time we visited the area. It was one of the things we looked forward to when we visited the area. This last time we left supremely disappointed.

First off the place isn't kept clean anymore. The tables were sticky, the huge fish tank gross and there was trash on the floor. It was slow enough that none of this should have been an issue but one young girl who I think is the daughter of the owner sat behind the counter reading a book and a guy who seems to be involved with the place sat at a table and BS'd with some people.

I've eaten in a lot of dive restaurants and I can overlook dirty if the food is awesome as LBT's has always been in the past. Not this time. The beef in my dish was so laden with gristle I couldn't hardly chew it and the normal explosion of flavor was completely lacking.

I'm checking I would recommend to a friend on the off chance this was just an off day and everything went wrong but ask around first before you try it.

Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Left before I finished my meal, was grossed out once I found the hair in the food. Service was awful.
