Loved everything about is hotel - the staff is wonderful and friendly. The food at the pickled fish is just amazing! Overall - this is one of my most favorite hotels to stay at on the Long Beach Peninsula! Would Highly recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting the area.

I stayed here a few nights on a business trip and I would love to bring the family here for a long weekend! The rooms have a great vibe - hipster beach chill - the restaurant has super delicious and creative food, and a great view, lots of light. Staff is suuuuper friendly. Free bikes! Corn hole! All while feeling nice and tucked away and secluded.

the facilities are nice, and the staff is courteous and resolved some issues we had (bonfire kit and bottle of wine weren't in the room. no problem, slightly less excitement for my fiancée but she's easy to please so no biggie). the things included in the kit could be had for less if you're prepared, but i didn't mind splurging a bit because i was getting engaged. however, it might be nice to include kindling and tinder in the bonfire kit because with how much wind there is at the coast, even a Boy Scout with methane-filled lungs wouldn't be able to start a fire with just newspaper and quickstart fire bricks and logs. but no matter, we lucked out and another couple was leaving the beach as we arrived and we took over their fire.

the wine had gone off, and it's my bad that i didn't check it before i left the hotel. we ended up drinking the cans of wine that came with the bonfire kit and took the purchased bottle home, only to find that it was sour. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ can't fault the hotel for that, it happens sometimes and with the way things were handled, i'm sure they'd have swapped the bottle for another one if we'd notified them before we left.

the view of the ocean from the restaurant is great, and the food is awesome. i'm clumsy and spilled my fiancée's mimosa all over her omelette, both of which were so rapidly swapped out and cleaned up that our waitress didn't even realize what had happened.

it's a little spendy, and you can go elsewhere on the coast and be closer to the beach with less wind and have your own bonfire and wine and s'mores for a lot less money, but i find myself wanting to go back regardless.

Nice enough place buy way overpriced and service was poor. Absolutely inflexible regarding any sort of refunds or credit for those of us unhappy with the service and our stay, Had stayed at this hotel several times before but noticed a very corporate, rigid style take over the hotels actions in recent stays. The hotel staff talk a good game but when it comes to money no different than a holiday inn or similar. Drop the phony we care , we're so cool and laid back attitude and just embrace the fact you are no different than any other place that simply exists to take as much money as you can from your visitors, Nothing special or different here,

We really enjoyed the close proximity of the Adrift Hotel to the Discovery Bike Trail which we rode the following morning. The bike trail winds through beach grass into the woods and up a mountain and out to the point to a Lighthouse.

Room Tip: Our 4th floor south-west facing room was noisy, we heard a lot of noise from outside. Earplugs were provided, we now know why.
