The pastoral setting of Abendblume is delightful. From the patio one overlooks meadows with the mountains in the background. It is close to town but has a wonderful rural feeling. The architecture of the house is very "Black Forest" and beautifully designed and constructed by the owners. Breakfast is expansive with a large variety of choices and if you are in luck you will get ebbleskivers, little round pancakes with apple syrup. The owners, Randy and Renee are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. We have tried three of them. It is a great place to spend the weekend.

This a lovely place with inviting music, several working fireplaces, lots of spaces to enjoy breathtaking views, and a homemade breakfast that is top notch. Renee went out of her way to accommodate a very short notice in plans that could have left me in the lurch, but not only was she understanding, she made the alternative even better. This is a place you can fall in love with and really rest up and enjoy your time in Leavenworth. I look forward to coming back.

Thank you for the kind review. We are not one to ask guests to write about us, so when they do it is VERY much appreciated. We are glad it all worked out and you were able to enjoy our lovely valley. Please come see us again!

My boyfriend and I spent last weekend at Abendblum and it was the highlight of our time in Leavenworth! Renee and Randy are very friendly and welcoming and they have truly exquisite taste. It seems like every detail was thought out so well. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The first night we were there the living room fire made it all so cozy. Honestly we didn't really even want to leave the premises to go explore Leavenworth! The outdoor hot tub was very luxurious too. My boyfriend reports that the breakfast was super delicious. Being gluten-free and not able to eat sugar, I couldn't really enjoy most of it. That said, if you do have food allergies/restrictions I wouldn't count on being able to eat most of it. Regardless, you're picking a great place if you come to Abendblum. Romantic and very charming!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Kitsbuel room which is the only room on the first floor. We liked it very much!

My husband and I make it an annual tradition to stay at Abendblume either before or after Christmas. It's so comfortable and cozy and the owners and guest alike are always friendly and enjoyable. The setting makes you feel like you are in Bavaria- it's nice not to be right in the middle of the busy town. The dessert at night and breakfast in the morning are the best, without fail! You will thoroughly enjoy your stay!

Room Tip: All the rooms upstairs are wonderful! There is an outdoor hot tub but also big tubs in most rooms. No fitness center but wonderful walking, hiking, etc. all around.

We are so glad that we went to Leavenworth, WA in September 2013! My sister recommended this quaint town in the mountains as an "add-on" to attending her son's wedding in Seattle. The drive through the mountains was beautiful, and this B&B was a fabulous find! The owner prepared truly gourmet breakfasts with a Bavarian flair. The Snow White room had an amazing view, plus a wrap-around balcony with petunias. The setting was quiet! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to all. We greatly appreciated the owner's hiking suggestions and loved the gorge trail with its bridges and views. We even stopped at an "historic" salmon hatchery on the way there. We have stayed at many B&Bs and give this one our highest marks for its location, service, and food. It is a family-owned business, which is particularly nice.
