What a great Hotel! It was in perfect walking distance from everything. The Hotel staff was so helpful and friendly. There was a great restaurant right next to the hotel and it was good food. We will definitely go back to this Hotel.

Room Tip: I loved having a patio to sit out on.

The office staff were quite friendly and the breakfast was great! Inert of the nicer continental breakfasts without the weird eggs you usually get. The room was simple but clean, no weird smells. Bathroom was decent, you could tell it was old. We were happy with it overall.

We stayed here in mid-December for the lighting ceremony for two nights on the top floor. We had a nice balcony where we would keep our beverages cold. We had friends in the room next to us and were able to share hot cocoa and snacks throughout the stay. We walked to the town in less than 5 minutes and didn't have to drive for anything during our stay which was convenient. I hope we can come back to Leavenworth this summer and stay again.

Easy access to downtown. Off the beaten path so there were no interruptions when you need your rest. Beautiful view all the way around the grounds and easy reservation and check in. Easy to work with to get a room and accomidations. I would definitely go back and stay there again. Hopefully next time a few more days.

I stayed at Der Ritterhof Motor Inn on the weekend of the annual Oktoberfest, 2012. I was late to reserve a room but luckily Der Ritterhof was able to accommodate me. Why was I lucky? 1st) Given its location, it was a GREAT price. Not too far, and not too close. MAYBE 20 minute walk to the tents but worth every step. I was able to see the town, take pics. Sometimes when you're RIGHT in the middle of town you can't see anything else. 2) It was clean. 3) Since I traveled alone, It was a great place to meet people. The horseshoe shape of the hotel rooms allowed people to commonly meet and greet each other. Otherwise, when privacy was needed, it was also there. 4) Coffee and "stuff" for breakfast was enough to get me to lunch. 5) Warm staff
