This was an amazing find. We were walking down the street when a nearby shopowner walked by with a to-go order from Pavz. The amazing aroma drew us in for the best lunch we had while in Leavenworth. Not only will the food amaze you, but the atmosphere and service (thank you, Robert!) are top notch.

we have always made a point to eat at pavz when in leavenworth( maybe 10-15 times now) and ive had the roasted half chicken at least 10 times!! (so i know how it should taste haha!) it has been a 5 star meal but just recently seems like they have changed some of the meals like the roast chicken with demi glaze, they used to put a nice amt. of the demi glace on the chicken to where it would add a nice rich flavor to the rice ( which was nestled under the chicken, yummy) but now ive had it a couple times and seems abit dryer...also seemed to be less roasted vegi's and rice too! (and vegi's are an important part of a meal) this last time just seemed like it was a huge dish with a half chicken in the center and a tiny bit of vegi's and rice... presentation is a huge part of a meal.... maybe a new cook?? hopefully the owner will notice and have the cook go back to the old ways. we would also suggest putting cheese on the baked ham or turkey half sandwich (or at least offer as a choice) 10.00 for a half sand and side salad.. all in all pavz is still one of the best eats in leavenworth, we are not giving up but just hope they dont change to much more. ive noticed others have also seen the changes?? (13.00-15.00 for the roast chicken isnt too high but i hope they dont change it) like i said above maybe training a new cook...(hopefully thats all it is) i still reccomend it and im sure it will be back to the owners high standard next time...we havent seen him in there for awhile...hmmmm maybe thats has something to do with it? please go back to more demi glaze and keep up your special touches, as this was what made a diff. between a memorable meal and a just a meal!!!! P.S.their demi glace is the bomb! equal to any 5 star rest. in seattle!!) and ive heard the crepes are the bomb too!!

Recommended to us my our son and his wife. We wanted a place to sit and read, and eat something special. Portabella crepe.....then apple strudel crepe. You have got to try the apple strudel crepe.

We've eaten here before on several previous trips and thought it was typically a much better experience. There were several disappointing aspects to our most recent visit. For starters the reservations page was lost and I don't mean our reservation was lost. We stopped in at lunch time to make a 7:00 PM reservation. I saw the host write my name on the sheet along with several other names that were already there. When we came back at 7:00 there was a crowd of people waiting to be seated. When I told the hostess we had reservations she wrote something on a completely blank sheet of paper. I heard two other groups say they'd also made reservations but they had no record of it.

The other issue we had is that they were out of several key ingredients including their Italian sausage which was in several dishes and strawberries for their dessert crepes. We enjoyed the main parts of our entrees but the side vegetables were bland and not very creative. Lastly the dessert took almost 20 minutes to arrive.

On the plus side the halibut my daughter had was preparred well and the lamb in the osso bucco was fork tender and delicious. The pear crepe was as good as ever and the waitress was also friendly.

This use to be a go-to place for us when staying in Leavenworth but we'll look at another option next time.

The appetizer fondue was pretty good. Tasty cheese blend and a wide assortment of dippable foods. The chicken spinach crepe was quite bland, as were the apple and mango dessert crepes. With such a vast array of eateries in Leavenworth, we are not sure we would come again.
