Description: When we first started München Haus, we had visions of an outdoor eatery and beer garden where family and friends could meet to experience a taste of Germany in the beautiful Alpine town of Leavenworth. It is with the help of our families and wonderful, dedicated employees that we are able to offer a unique Leavenworth dining experience.

We stopped there because we heard about their brauts and it was worth a 15 minute wait. They were perfect. There are many different mustards and sauces available. Also, be sure to try their pretzels. They are freshly baked and come hot out of the oven with butter and cheese. More please!

When visiting Leavenworth we were overwhelmed with all the choices of restaurants offering, what seemed like, pretty much all the same stuff. Trip Advisor to the rescue. Thanks to all who submitted feedback on all the places. With this being the number one we just had to try it.
Pros-The food, the atmosphere and the beer. We had a veggie brat and the others sampled a variety of the specials they offer. Slather some of the awesome array of mustard on there with some sauerkraut and your taste buds are in for an awesome adventure. Lots of folks will tell you “do one things and do it well” these folks listened and it worked. Add to this the amazing assortment of beer and you have a nice meal. If that weren’t enough there is a party like atmosphere here. It is essentially outdoors so there is a feel of a patio grill party at the neighbors to the joint which is always fun.
Cons – Being #1 on Trip Advisor makes the place a bit crowded at times. We didn’t have a problem but often went by and saw lines snaking out the front. Fancy it is not. We are talking brats in a plastic baskets and plastic utensils. The porch style may not be for everybody and this is not a place for comfort or conversation. Also keep in mind that when you have beer, live music and a patio party atmosphere there may be the occasional person who is a bit over the top (if you get my drift).
Bottom Line – The number one spot is well deserved. This is a very memorable place due to lots of factors and for a summer evening to have beer and brats in such a spot with a live band to boot…just darn fun.

Had a great day in Leavenworth and brats at Munchen Haus contributed to our enjoyment of the day. Service was excellent. The Big Bob Bratwurst was solid and the all you can eat apple cider kraut and specialty mustards brought it to the next level. I especially enjoyed the jalapeño mustard. The beer garden was a great place to enjoy our food and we even contemplated going in the evening for happy hour and music, but considering the crowds that were lining up around noon we decided to skip it. However, I am sure we would have had a great time nonetheless. Good place, I would certainly go again next time I find myself in Leavenworth.

This place is always hopping- it's all outside. You order and pay for your food at the entrance. Friendly staff. Inside you go to a different counter for the beer. There is an amazing selection of mustards and toppings for your pretzels or brats. Great atmosphere.

Great service from cashier to cook. Food was delicious with so many sauces. Delicious Kraut with a sausage. Took it to go and felt like traveling back for more.
