We had been to Leavenworth 15 years ago in the summer, and decided to come in the winter this time on the occasion of my wife's birthday. We remembered Cafe Mozart from the earlier visit, and found that it is still the best restaurant in Leavenworth for elegant, peaceful and authentic Bavarian/German dining. The music is wonderful, mostly Mozart of course, but mixed occasionally with other relaxing, artistic & light piano music. Great appetizers and entrees, with wonderful flavors. We recommend the fondue to start, and the Mozart’s Marzipan Torte to finish. The Cafe Mozart chef was able to improvise well, and provided a very generous and tasty vegetarian entree plate for my wife. Wow, the mushrooms! We'll be back...

Our B&B owner recommended this restaurant for Bavarian food. We really enjoyed the traditional dishes, including the salads. The atmosphere was lovely with white tablecloths. That said, casual dress was acceptable, so we felt most welcome.

We had goulash and a platter with different kinds of sausages, schnitzel and some other stuff. The food was very good, the waitress was courteous and there was a person playing the piano (live). Very nice.

Lady who served us was exceptionally friendly and courtious. The coffee was good, they have their own roast from local coffee growers. And dessert was Very Good. I liked the marzipan torte and crepes.

Hands down the best Sauerbraten in town. We decided to dine at Cafe Mozart for Friday night dinner, it was excellent! The service could have been a little warmer, but the food was worth the wait.
