Description: This family-owned business has been bringing Bavaria to Leavenworth for over 25 years. The chef, Anita Hamilton, has been personally overseeing the kitchen since 1991 and is a native of Germany. The made-from-scratch desserts, soups and entrees are reminiscent of traditional Gasthaus fare. The owner, Heidi Forchemer, travels to Germany yearly for new menu ideas. Her son, Max, can be heard playing his button accordion most weekends, along with other local musicians, such as Tom Tilton of the Alpenfolk band. It simply doesn't get more authentic than this!

“Pleasant service and good food.”
Reviewed May 27, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I visited this establishment for the first time and were pleased. The hostess was pleasant and we were seated fairly fast at this busy restaurant. I had the Schnitzel and my wife had the Jaegerschnitzel and ordered a pretzel for an appetizer. Before we finished our pretzel our main course was served. We both enjoyed our meals and no complaints with the food hot and seasoned appropriately. The only thing we did not care for was the feeling of being rushed out. We will go there again on our next trip to Leavenworth.

“Authentic!”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

This place was recommended by our hotel concierge as one of the best spots to eat. We loved the authentic food (variety of menu choices), the good beers, outstanding service and cozy ambiance. Highly recommended.

“Accordion Music & Everything...”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

On a Saturday evening, we strolled in and were seated immediately. Polkas were emanating from the accordionist in lederhosen. Once seated, the waitress was quickly seeing to our needs. We ordered the sausage sampler platter as an appetizer. Then, we both ordered the schnitzel. Along with a German-style beer, we were happy campers!

“Wonderful cuisine”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Andreas Keller has become a favorite for my family. Anytime we have opportunity to even drive thru Leavenworth it is must stop. Atmosphere is unique with "barrel" booths. Great service and very accommodating to food allergies. Love the live music at night...just wish it started an hour earlier as we tend to have early dinners before our 3 hour journey home.
