“The name is all wrong”

This place had three different gingerbread cookies (1 not frosted), and it they were perfectly ordinary. This is not a "Gingerbread Factory" but instead a little cafe. The staff was very friendly, however.

Though the Gingerbread Factory earned its name over 20 years ago, we do try to keep the spirit of a small factory alive. Though we have a few different gingerbread cookies in our case, the recipe dating back to the original owners, we do have quite a few varieties of that same dough available all over the shop. Where the "factory" part comes in is in our custom and seasonal gingerbread houses - the likes of which are so much fun and unique to make, we can't believe we do this for a living. Next time you're in, ask to see some of these designs (we have quite a few around the shop), and I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised. Thank you for your feedback, we hope to see you again!

“Well worth the trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2013 via mobile

Didn't know what to expect especially as had a six year old in tow but really enjoyed it and had no problem entertaining for 2 to 3 hours. Food looked good, well presented and the place was spotless. Obviously tourist orientated but not overly expensive and staff were helpful and polite. Having plants for sale as well was a bonus

“Tasty cookies”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

Small house tucked behind the main street, with really good gingerbread cookies. The basic round cookies were very good--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not too sweet. We also shared a gingerbread heart with peppermint buttercream frosting--the frosting was really good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the stop.

“Hot cocoa”

All nine of our family - made 2 visits to the Ginerbread Factory. The cookies are reasonably priced. It was croweded, but, that made it all the more fun.

“Good cookies!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012

I thought there would be more variety here but the selection is limited. However, what they did serve was really super yummy! I'm not a big frosting fan but the frosting on both our gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies was really good, creamy, and not too sickly sweet.
