Fairbridge Inn & Suites
Ranked #13 of 19 Hotels in Leavenworth
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Leavenworth, WA is a lovely Bavarian village with many attractions, especially during OctoberFest. The Fairbridge Inn offers nice rooms and spacious suites within easy walking distance to downtown. The suite we had featured a gas fireplace, a comfortable sofa and chair, and plenty of open space. The room rate includes a plentiful hot breakfast. The staff promptly responded to any request we made. We enjoyed our stay at the Fairbridge!

Room Tip: The ground floor suites are spacious and convenient.

We recently stayed in a 3 bedroom family suite and it was perfect for us. We were 4 adults and 3 small children. The bedrooms were roomy, the beds comfortable, the bath was adequate and there was an additional sink area outside the bathroom. There was plenty of room in the common area for the kids to play and for us to sit and visit or watch TV. The breakfast was one of the best I have encountered, excellent waffles, hot or cold biscuits with hot gravy to add, scrambled eggs, sausage, hot and cold cereals as well as fruit and yogurt. The really great addition for us was the swimming pool. With 3 kids under age 5 who love to swim, it filled the down time between the wedding events we were in town for. The indoor pool was clean, good towels provided plus water toys. The staff was friendly and continuously asked if we needed anything. The accommodations and staff made our stay a very positive one. Leavenworth is lovely any time of year and the Fairbridge will be visited by us again.

Room Tip: If you have difficulty with stairs, be sure to request a 1st floor room. Even with the elevator ther...

Great daily breakfast with variety and quality preparation...no boxed eggs here. And a comfortable room. Middle of the road mattresses and bed and bath linens, but everything was very clean. They had all the current info. On the festival schedule as well as a current update on air quality due to. He close by wildfires.

Room Tip: Breakfast is served on the third floor and the higher the room #, the further away from the elevator...

For our 5th Anniversary, we decided to go wine tasting in downtown Leavenworth, WA. My boyfriend is disabled and I usually have to be the designated driver, so this time we wanted a hotel within walking distance. Since check-in wasn't until 4pm, I asked if it was okay to park our car in their parking lot and then spend the day at the main street. They said no problem. Went we got there, they not only had a room ready and let us check in at 11am, they upgraded us to the room with a handicap bathroom for free (normally its $15 or $20 more because its two double beds).

When we came back later that night, I found the bed to be very comfortable. I normally have a problem with the beds in even high end hotels, but I found the mattress at Fairbridge to be just the right balance between soft and firm. The comforter kept me warm (I normally freeze in hotels) and the pillows, while small, did not give me any neck problems.

The building is old, but seemed to be well maintained and the room and bathroom were clean. I wish we had had time to try out their pool, it looked very nice. The continental breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage links, warm biscuits, sausage gravy, fruit cocktail (but no fresh fruit by the time we arrived), yogurt, various cereals and breakfast pastries, and, of course, a DIY waffle maker. I had biscuits and gravy and it was very good.

I would definitely stay here again. The price, location and amenities were awesome.

Very good experience-very good value with a full breakfast with lots to choose from- wonderful if you' re traveling with kids. Also pet-friendly.

Located on the north end of town with plenty of parking.

The Fairbridge Inn is definitely a motel, it is not a hotel. So, if you have motel expectations you won't be too disappointed. The room was quite dated and small, there was nothing special about it at all. And the complimentary breakfast, although the food was adequate, the room once again felt stale and uninviting. The best thing about the Fairbridge is the location as it is near the heart of town, you can walk there in 5 minutes. Book a room here only if you can't find something better somewhere else in town, consider it a last resort.

I was looking for a place to stay for around $100 and decided on the Fairbridge. It is on the main highway through Leavenworth so you will hear a lot of road noise so stay away if you are a light sleeper.

Check in was smooth and the gentleman who got us our room was very nice and had some suggestions for dinner.

The room we had could use an update/remodel. The bathroom sink is out in the main sleeping are which I didn't like since I get up quite early and hubby doesn't. The tub/shower had grungy calk (I hate that!!) and some of the floor tiles were cracked. The bath towels were tiny and thin. The bedskirts were torn and it didn't look like housekeeping vacuumed the carpet (it was a dark color and there was a bunch of specs all over it).

They do have a free breakfast and a pool (we didn't use either). If you don't need either of those things I would suggest you try the Leavenworth Village Inn (see my review for more info). We found that to be our new favorite place to stay in Leavenworth that is the same price and much quieter, updated and you can walk to all the shops as well.
