Small dining area with beautiful view of Saratoga Passage.
I liked our table location (inside).
Not too loud, very comfortable.
Good dinner, fish tacos.
Nice wine list and beer selection.
I liked it and am looking forward to doing it again soon.

Dined with a family of six. As some of the other contributors commented, this restaurant is cute and small, nice staff, with a great view of Saratoga Passage. But outside of that, our experience was disappointing. No one was in the restaurant at the time we dined, but it still took over 30 minutes to get our food. The pork tacos were ok but the sides were just plain brown rice and plain black beans (just like Trader J's canned Cuban black beans.) My companion ordered the chicken mole in a kale tortilla - other than the mole sauce, it didn't taste much like real South American cuisine. He only ate half his meal.....The food was average at best, prices are moderate and there are definitely better options nearby. We won't be going back :(

Having grown-up making frequent weekend trips to Langley with limited dining options, returning many years later and finding Portico was a treat.
Great decor and a fun space, we benefited from coming on a rainy fall weeknight with only 4 other customers present: the tables are tight and I can imagine a busy summer weekend being on top of neighboring patrons. But for us tonight? Perfect, quiet ambiance.

Ordered the Argentinian Flank Steak and also fish tacos. Flank steak was excellent, great sauce, perfect black beans, and a unique butternut squash polenta as bedding. Ordered medium and got medium rare, which was tasty and to my liking but if you’re specific about your steak temp go ahead and chat with cook (kitchen is open; chef was friendly) to make sure you get what you want. Fish tacos were lightly fried, with fish staying light and flavorful. More great sauce on those.

We got out for $66 including tax, tip, chips/guac (perfectly salted and limed; and not loaded with the garbage another reviewer thinks is normal for proper guacamole) and a pair of Mexican cokes.

Not the cheapest place in town, but not the most expensive. Worth our time and money, for sure. Will return.

The wait to get our food after we ordered was about an hour-
It is VERY crowded and you are seated with other folks tables connected to your own/ if you don't like strangers sharing your conversation don't go here.
The food was only so-so after we finally got it, nothing special.
Dining options are limited if you're staying in Langley- especially if it's after 7pm.

We were exploring the area and were recommended to eat here. What a cute place. So not fancy but comfortable where you can sit back and enjoy the view and eat delicious food. Which we did. You could actually spend several hours here because your view is of the ocean and mountains. To the right are the Olumpus Mtn range. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas. Super casual. The staff is friendly and fun. We sat outside and part of the kitchen is out there so you can sit and visit with the staff. The small town that surrounds this restaurant is also adorable with interesting shops.
