We have been to Langley many many times and we always try to catch a meal here. The food is SURPRISINGLY great given that there aren't many options in Langley. In fact, Prima could stand on it's own as a cozy, friendly neighborhood bistro in a city of any size. The service is great, the food is really good, nice wine and cocktail list. It's not inexpensive but it's well worth it. Suggest you make a reservation - every time we've been it's been quite popular.

Reliably excellent, friendly staff, and a beautiful view. What more can you ask for?
I agree with an earlier reviewer that it's a very good idea to call for a reservation. Often busy, even mid-week.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable meal at the Prima Bistro last week. Wonderful Pen Cove oysters were followed by very good steak frites. The Arctic char was also excellent. Service was good and the wine list is quite extensive. Be sure to book if you plan to visit on Saturday nights. Even in the middle of winter the place was full. Obviously very popular with the locals!

My boyfriend and I went here on a Saturday night after hearing about it from our Innkeeper. I suggest making reservations, and the earlier the better. By the time we called (about 5PM) we couldn't get in earlier than 8:30. We parked off of 2nd street and had to walk up steep stairs to go in, then had to walk to the front of the house to be seated by the hostess, which meant walking past the "back" of the restaurant, so you kinda see it all (kitchen, hallways, etc) before seeing the restaurant. I wish there was an easier way to get to the front. The restaurant sit above a store, and you can kinda see down into the store from one part of the restaurant. The decor is nice, with soft lighting, so it is great for a date. The food is good and there is a lot of wine to choose from. We liked that they offered 14oz pinchets, and the menu which offers a three course meal for $32 is a must. While it has a semi-casual feel, it would be nice if it had booths. But it is a VERY good find for Langley, and we would return in the future.

We went on a very busy night - they took my cel to call when a table came up so we could hop across to the wine tasting across the street. The beet salad, well all the food was good - too good - I ate a lot. Highly recommend.
