“Old Time Good Time Restaurant”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

The LaConner Pub does breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a family service in the back toward the water and a bar in front toward the street. During high season it is packed. The food is basic and well-prepared and the bar is fun. They have a pool table, darts and pull-tabs. It is that sort of place wiht a long bar, well attended. Very popular place.

“Quaint waterfront eatery.”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

We wanted waterfront dining and got excellent food as well. While walking past the bar you see plaques in memory of past "regulars" who occupied those stools. Back in the dining area every table has at least a partial view of the Swinomish Channel. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. You will need to park somewhere else, as parking is extremely limited on the street.

“Wonderful Experience - VERY good Pub Chow”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

Fantastic fries! Good Brew! GREAT service! Extremely reasonable prices! What more could you want? OK, we like pub food, and this place did not disappoint. Only one better may be the Ghost Hole Public House down on the Oregon Coast. I digress... We ordered the Patty Melt and it was good as you can find - and it was unique in that it had sauteed onions and cheese on BOTH sides of the burger - talk about good! And so big we nearly couldn't finish it. Fries were fabulous - tasty, perfectly cooked and hot when they arrived. Which reminds me, there was a reason for that. We arrived on a very busy Sunday afternoon (tulip festival). We were seated for only a few minutes when our server (Anna) made a quick stop to apologize for the delay because, as she explained, she had to get food out to three other tables. I like that! We also observed the meals served to the other diners and it all looked great, and from the way they ate, it was. They have quite a nice menu, including lots of fresh seafood (scallops, prawns, shrimp, etc) burgers, prime rib, etc. Also a nice, while small, selection of brews on tap.

I note there are some comments on poor service. If it's there, we didn't see any sign of it. Our server was just great - bright, friendly, and very concerned about our dining experience. And it's a fun place - you have plenty of options for seating, watching sports, two outside patios on the water, and a great old bar.

Overall, I would be shocked if you didn't enjoy this Pub.

“A lively place for dinner!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

We ate dinner at La Conner Pub while there for a weekend stay. We arrived at 5 PM on a Saturday night and the place was packed!! They we able to find us a table pretty quickly, and we spent the time waiting for our dinner enjoying a game of cribbage. The food was excellent, and there was something for everyone-- including yummy vegetarian options. Our pizzas were a little heavy on the cheese, but was otherwise delicious. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos and microbrew. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit to La Conner!

“Love this place, very comfortable”

Very good fried shrimp. The atmosphere is wonderful, casual, and relaxed. Our group of 6 people ate at the farmers table. Look for the waitress with the fun laugh.
