“Relaxing and Interesting...worth the Trip”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

We enjoyed taking the Argosy Tour if Lake Washington from the Kirkland Dock last week. Be sure to pick a nice day (not too cold or rainy), and be sure to wear sunscreen & hat/sunglasses if you're lucky enough (like we were) to have a perfect sunny day. The tour guide made it interesting, and the tour was relaxing. It's fascinating to see all the multimillion dollar homes from the lake vies, as well as going under a bridge and seeing the work progressing on the new one. The highlight, of course, is seeing Bill Gates' home. If you get the chance, be sure to take one of the Argosy cruises while you're in the Seattle area.

“An eye to Lake Washington living!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

I liveeon the lake In Kirkland and see the Argosy ships cruising by daily.......altho I have never done the cruise as we had a boat of our own at the door step. I think it gives the visitor a view of life along the lake with the sights of the beautiful homes of Kirkland, Bellevue, Medina. Plus one sees Mt Rainier on a clear day, and the skyline of Seattle is always visible. A trip through the Montlake cut with views of the U of W, new football stadium, University hospital, and then into Lake Union with its houseboat communities, and a magnificent view of Seattle.

“Very nice and informational”

If the weather is good, this is a great way to spend half a day on the water, to see the grate houses along the Lake Washington shores in including Bill Gates house. It is fun for adults and kids.

“Lovely time”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

On nice summer days and evenings Argosy tours are a great escape. We live in Kirkland and still remember fondly our first Argosy cruise when we were new to the area. What a great way to see the communities around Lake Washington / Lake Union. Since then we've taken visitors frequently for a cruise, took part in private function on night cruises and even did a family event on a nice cruise -- very fond memories.
