“Great food. Trendy garage setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014

What a surprise. Following the GPS, we were sure there was a mistake as we drove through residential Kirkland. Ample parking and a converted auto shop garage with a line of people at the service counter. We ordered a chicken and goat cheese sandwich, turkey sandwich, chicken pizza, and tomato bisque. All were outstanding. House made crusty bread and some of the best goat cheese I've tasted.

Worth the confusing drive to get there.

“Great food. Industrial experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

This has been my third visit to Dero. The food is always great. Had the pizza twice (you have to like thin crust). Their daily specials are always extremely tasty. Yesterday's was the braised beef and vegetables. Mopped up with some of the focaccia bread was delightful.

My son, Aidan, a pizza connoisseur, said the pizza was the best he's ever had.

The atmosphere is industrial. Plain white as befits a converted warehouse space. Everything echoes a bit so it could get a little noisy with a lot of people.

“Great Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2013

Just visited for the first time. My daughter had a sandwich and I a pizza. Very very tasty. Great desserts too. While we were eating, lots of people came for takeout so I think there are some regulars who come for takeout instead of cooking at home. Smart.

“Simple place but complex tasty food--worth finding”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

This was a little tricky to find at night coming from Courtyard Kirkland but it only took 10 minutes and it was worth it. Pizzas are thin crust; slightly chewy and not too crispy like a cracker. We loved our Margherita (sun dried tomatoes were different but liked; $12) and Apple & Arugula (apple shreds, brie, parmesan, arugula; $13). With a fresh and tasty salad this meal was perfect for the four of us. Decor is white. Period. Chairs are plastic so not really a date night kind of place. We'd come back for sure!

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

I love Deru and go there about once a week for lunch. The food is always fresh and very tasty. I believe almost all the food is organic and they buy as much local produce as they can. This week I had their sardine sandwich combo and I think it is the best sandwich on their menu. My kids always enjoy their baked goods of cookies and yummy cakes.
