We'd booked this place because it seemed the best value for miles around. Just off the highway, and we were arriving late. We got a friendly welcome, and the room had everything you need, and it worked. OK, the carpets in the corridors looked a bit tired, but we were not paying luxury prices. Sadly there is no elevator, but I think you can get to any of the rooms by going either up or down one floor at the most. The breakfast is included - making it even better value, and it was great. We didn't happen to try the boiled eggs which another reviewer mentioned, but everything we ate seemed to be fresh and tasty. Including waffles which you make yourself. Yummy.

Room Tip: Remember there is no elevator

This hotel has two thumbs up. We arrived in Kirkland late on a Saturday night. The Motel 6 across the street would not take customers without reservations and this was our 5th stop. There was one room left at a reasonable price. I was very pleased with the accommodations and wonderful hospitality of the staff, even with it being so late at night. The bed seemed new and the furniture in the room was well maintained. The morning breakfast was great, not just the cereal, donuts, and toast.

The desk and management folks were very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms, we stayed twice, were clean and everything worked well. The second time the desk chair would not remain in an elevated position. When it was sat upon, it would collapse to the lowest position. I called the desk and the desk person came right up and replaced the chair.

There was a hump in the middle of both rooms. The flooring has sagged over the floor joists and until we got use to it, we stumbled when bumping into the hump.

The first time we stayed we had a room on the top floor. The second time we were on the second floor. Every step from upstairs was accompanied by a squeak and/or pop. The folks above walked back and forth until around 0100 and started up again around 0700.

The best thing which can be said is there is a phenomenal, authentic, traditional Japanese sushi restaurant in the little mall immediately to the east of the motel.

One of the first things we noticed upon arrival at this location, was the building. It was located in an industrial area just off the highway and looked very old. Upon entering the room, we weren't impressed. The floor had a huge lump in the middle of it, the carpet was really dirty, and the beds were soft and lumpy. Other than that it was fine for a couple nights of good sleep, or so I thought.
We spent the first night trying to figure out a safe way to help my physically disabled mother down to the pool. There is no elevator in this place and no ramp to the pool area. We had to go down one flight of stairs and come up a different side because of the location of the railing (which my mother needs to have). A few more steps led down to the separate pool area that was filled with loads of mosquitos as the pool backs onto a creek and heavily wooded area.
That night I was looking forward to a good night's sleep, but no one mentioned the floors were thin! The people staying in the room above us were walking around continuously until 3am and I could hear every step as though I was in the basement of a house! To top it all off, the air conditioner leaked continuously and soaked the carpet on one side of the room.
Now here's the best part, the complimentary breakfast. May I recommend you stay away from the hard boiled eggs. They tasted more like rubber balls and I believe I may have bounced a few for fun. The only other protein option would be the lovely powdered scrambled eggs. Mmmm!
Upon checkout, no thank you, no receipt, nothing. Way overpriced for what you get, a bad cold!

We definitely will not be back.

Room Tip: The best room would most likely be on the top floor if you want peace and quiet!

We were leaving Seattle area, and there was a glitch on the freeway north to Canada. It was already into it's 4th or 5th hour. Something about a police chase, accidents, and a manhunt. So, listening to the radio, we knew we were not going to make it home. Pulled off at Kirkland, and stayed in the Comfort Inn. It was far superior to what were accustomed to. Great room, large, desk, big TV, great. Desk staff gave us direction by foot to a fantastic Italian restaurant. Not your typical pasta and pizza, like REAL Italian food prepared with obvious care and skill. Forget the name, but had vintage Motoguzzi motorcyles everywhere. On the floor, walls, up in corners. Unbelievable food. Went back to hotel and slept like logs. Only minor complaint, I didn't see an elevator.
Definetly a great place to stay!

I took a chance randomly picking this Comfort Suites and won! Both desk clerks were very friendly and helpful with directions. The room was very clean and quiet. If stairs challenge you there are 2 flights and no elevator but that was not an issue for me. The location is convenient to the freeways without being noisy. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. So ditto and ditto for all the nice things people have said about this Comfort Suites.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The lobby was very clean, warm, and comfortable. the front desk staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and well kept and there is little noise even though it is next to I-405, which is actually very convenient. They have a computer to use for business purposes and i was able to use their fax and copier which helped alot. Overall i would definitely recommend this place its quiet and comfortable.
