Love their variety of beers. The atmosphere is very casual, beer and pretzels while watching TV.

Don't come for food, but a great place to stop in for a micro brew.

Northwest Micro brew at it's rustic best. Enjoy a few tastings or pick/fill up a growler. This is a fun stop on the way to Port Gamble and Port Townsend.
If you like the Hood Canal Brewery you must try FinnRiver Cider and farm near Chimacum.

Kingston itself is a smaller community, but one place you have to go is the Hood River Brewery. You will find their beers in just about every little place on the peninsula, but the brewery is a place to behold.

They are located in a small industrial park that you would easily miss if you didn't know it was there. Nestled in next to an auto mechanic are two garage doors- one bay is the brewery and the other is the "bar". By bar I mean about 6 plastic picnic tables and chairs bordered by a half-wall so you can see the brewing operations (if you are tall enough to see over the bags of oats and barley- at the end of the tables is the physical bar with 6-8 taps. Selection changes often based on what is the fresh selection that day. Ask for the roasted peanuts- best I have ever had (they roast them there!).
