We were in Kent for the weekend, and had already planned that we were having pizza for dinner. We got out the phone book and tablet and began our search. we narrowed our search down to two pizza restaurants which happened to be located two blocks apart. The other one didn't have indoor seating, so we ended up at Benson. I'll repeat the other reviewers, and say Don't be fooled by the outside, as it is located in an older strip mall with a parking lot that takes some getting used to. Now, Benson serves Indian style pizza, and I hear it is very very good, but we were there for Italian style pizza, and were not disappointed. Soon as we walked in the door, the aroma of great Italian cooking surrounded us, and there was plenty of seating for even the largest of parties. The owners are really friendly, and took the time to explain their menu items and specials to us. (even talked up some track & field and Ducks football, too) He recommended the cheesy bread, and guaranteed that nobody has more cheese on their cheesy bread, BELIEVE IT! - Heaviest cheesy bread EVER! Our pepperoni pizza was really delicious with a very flavorful pepperoni, sauce, and a perfectly baked crust. There is no soda fountain, but we just bought a 2 liter soda, and the restaurant provided the cups. Oh! and the prices are crazy low. We had the large pizza, cheesy bread, drinks for 3, (including Kent's high sales tax) all for under $20, plus had leftovers! The only thing I would change is I would like to see more pepperoni on the pizza, so next time we're ordering double pepperoni. it can't cost much.
